| In the context of globalization,the development of agricultural economy makes the main characteristics of farmers not only in the agricultural tradition of farming land,but also in the relationship with the "outside world" that cannot be broken.The flower industry in the global market network for breeding,planting,auction and distribution is particularly prominent in this sense.The Yuehu Village in Shilin County has superior agricultural planting conditions and convenient traffic conditions.In the development trend of the flower production base transferred from Chenggong to the surrounding area,the Yuehu Village is favored by the flower company,and a flower industry zone with a planned area of nearly myriad mu has landed here.A modern flower company has entered the traditional minority village,which has brought not only rich capital and advanced technology,but also a complete set of modern enterprise management system.Flower company is developing production and promoting farmers’ income.At the same time,it is also promoting the formation of the specialization of agricultural laborers,promoting the flower company’s employees achieve modernizing transformation through the modern mode of production and management system.This study takes Yunnan-Shilin Jinyuan Flower Industrial Zone and the Yuehu Village as fieldwork sites.The study focuses on the production and life practice,social culture which are transformed from traditional peasants to flower industry workers,and the production and management system of flower company.The main contents of the study include: with the diversified livelihood choices,the villagers of Yuehu Village chose to enter the flower company for the practical reasons;the flower company promotes the process that specialized agricultural laborers;the modern production mode and management system make the employees’ time concept,production technology,social relations and traditional culture change.From behavior to concept,from production to life,the flower company’s modern enterprise management system and the concept of modernization have also "embedded" in every aspect of the daily life of employees.The author believes that the system and concept of modernization really contribute to the increase of villagers’ income and the improvement of labor quality.However,modernization is also a multi-level,all-round and gradual transformation process.Besides the individual’s behavior and ability,the individual’s thinking,quality and demands in the concept level also need to realize the modernizing transformation.The final result of modernizing transformation is to give full play to the initiative of individuals,re-examine their own traditional culture and realize the all-round development of human beings. |
