| Foundry industry is a traditional industry in China,which occupies large market share,while the competition is more and more serious.The science technology develops fast,it brings big influence to the traditional foundry equipment.If we can’t improve the technology level,then we have to face the elimination.DSWA is a famous manufacturing company which has more than one hundred history.It’s product is the high-speed moulding machine.Nowadays,in consideration of the opportunities and challenges in the market,it has to optimize the product and improve the product performance to meet the upgrading and changing market needs and to increase the market share.The capability of product development is the core competition to manufacturing enterprises,and,the efficient development process is the essential condition to ensure the smooth going and new product quality.Therefore,the enterprise’s efficient product development process is the key element to win from the fierce market competition,which is also the main content of this article.This article is taking DSWA company as example.Through site research,we could understand the current product development process in this company.And,it takes the product development process of DSWA’s green sand vertical moulding line.Based on the theories of Business Process Management,Door Path Management,Organization and Product Life cycle,this article analyzes the major four problems in the product development process in DSWA--organization setup,project choose,process plan and incentive policy.And,against these problems,this article proposes the new applicable product development process solution through inquiring relative documentations and combining with actual situation.It takes the risk assessment and target cost analysis into the process,and then make the optimized new process.At last,it discusses the supporting measure for the new product development process,and analyzes the implementation effect.The improved product development process for DSWA could make up the shortage,to a certain extend.It could increase the success ratio and improve market share so that to improve enterprise competence.However,the market is changing all the time,the science is developing fast,the customers would have new requirements,so DSWA can’t stop the improvement to the product development process,it has to comply with the times and make continuous research. |
