Edible fungi is one of the most important vegetables in the world.Guangdong is one of the main areas for the production and export of edible fungi in China.With the increasingly fierce competition for Edible fungi at home and abroad,the export of edible fungi in Guangdong has brought considerable pressure.Through collecting data and information and conducting investigation,this paper carried out the following 3 aspects of the export of edible fungi in Guangdong during 2011?2016.First of all,the specific situation of exported edible fungi in Guangdong during 2011?2016 was analyzed.The main results were as follows: the export amount of edible fungi was $20.84?36.32 million per year,and the export volume was 5292.7?13286.8 t.The export volume of dried edible fungi was the largest,reaching $9.95 million in 2011.Every year,the export of edible fungi to more than 10 countries and regions,most of which were Malaysia and Thailand.Export enterprises were mainly private enterprises,followed by wholly foreign-owned enterprises.The way of export transportation was mainly sea and motor transport.The annual unit price of each type of edible fungi export was relatively stable,with only a few individual fluctuations.Dry edible fungi were the main force of the export of edible fungi.The exports of edible mushrooms produced locally in Guangdong accounted for the proportion of export of edible fungi in Guangdong port,and there was a decreasing trend every year.Secondly,the main problems existing in the export of edible fungi in Guangdong were analyzed and summarized.The main problems included: Guangdong edible fungus export product was single,the product grade was not high;the deep processing degree of edible fungi was not high,the added value was low;the brand protection consciousness was not strong;the export quantity and export amount were not high enough;the small scale scattered production and operation mode,restrict the edible fungi industry competitive power;the standard type needed to be strengthened,standard system needed to be improved;the production mode was not scale,which caused the resource consumption and environmental pollution;the industrial development was slow,the industrial chain was short;the production and circulation system was not perfect,which restricted the development of industrialization.Thirdly,the countermeasures for improving the competitiveness of edible fungi export in Guangdong were put forward..The main countermeasures included: accelerating the process of industrialization,rational layout of the production area of the province,relying on scientific and technological guidance,increasing investment in science and technology,implementing brand strategy,setting up brand customs actively,promoting the development of deep processed products,diversifying export products,raising export volume,strengthening enterprise management and improving the degree of management organization;We should standardize the pace of construction,improve the quality of export products,accelerate the docking of international markets,develop diversified export markets,increase the guidance and standardization of relevant policies,strengthen the construction of international trade talents and improve the comprehensive quality of farmers.
