Research On The Producer Services Development Of Qiaokou Based On The Headquarters Economy

Qiaokou District is an old industrial base which has been listed as the national adjustment and reform plan by the central government.Thus,industrial structure optimization and upgrading of the inevitable trend of promoting is very urgent.The thesis studies the condition and competitiveness of Qiaokou's producer service and make regional and domestic comparative analysis based on the headquarters economy theory.Then we build up a Competitiveness Evaluation System and use the principal component analysis of applied comparison research in Qiaokou District and other producer services headquarters in Wuhan.Therefore we can make policy recommendations for the development path of Qiaokou's producer service and contribute to the regional industrial structure adjustment and upgrading.There are five main parts in this thesis: The first part describes the concept and research of related production service industry and headquarters economy,explores the related evaluation system and relationship between the development of headquarters economy and producer services,producer services and competitiveness theory.The second chapter compares the current situation of Qiaokou's economic development headquarters with provincial and national producer services.With the investigation in three domestic characteristics of regional economic development headquarters of practical experience,we sum up the conditions and directions to develop headquarters economy: government orientation and unified planning;geographical and transportation advantages;high-end industrial chain combined with the characteristic development;professional service system;high-quality talent reserves and scientific research;education resources.The third part analyses the development of producer services headquarters economy in Qiaokou.With using SWOT analysis method,plotting how to take advantage of Qiaokou the challenges and seize the opportunity to make a change inferior concrete explanation.In the fourth part,we researches on Qiaokou producer services headquarters economic development competitiveness with factor analysis and build up an evaluation index system based on the theories.In order to make a scientific and objective results,we come to some conclusions through an empirical evaluation of Qiaokou District and other six of producer services in Wuhan: it has better market environment and supporting services as well as government spending and regional radiation ability;headquarters of modern service industry with high and new technology industry coupling;superior resource supply capacity;relatively poor economic potential and the productive service industry supporting ability.The last part in the thesis makes some corresponding suggestions for a better development of producer services in Qiaokou headquarters economy based on the whole research and analysis: strengthening business format and creating regional characteristic advantage;promoting innovation investment mode and attracting enterprise headquarter;fostering energetically protection through the functions of the government.
