| From the perspective of the economic development of various countries,with the development of industrialization to a certain stage,the service industry has gradually become the dominant force in promoting economic development and absorbing employment.As the role of the service industry in economic development becomes more and more important,the integration of the service industry and the manufacturing industry continues to deepen,and the service-oriented manufacturing industry slowly develops a trend in the developed countries.For example,Germany's "Industry 4.0" strategy and the United States' "Industrial Internet" strategy have all promoted the integration of manufacturing and service industries to varying degrees.Based on the newly released 2000-2014 input-output data of WIOD(2016)and the export data of the UN database of traded goods,this paper measures the level of manufacturing service and manufacturing exports of 42 countries in the input-output table by region.Complexity level.Using multinational panel data to analyze the impact of manufacturing service delivery on the technological complexity of manufacturing exports in various countries,on this basis,the paper studies the manufacturing service exports to manufacturing exports of developed and developing countries based on regional heterogeneity.The impact of technological complexity is different.At the same time,this paper further analyzes the impact of knowledge-intensive and labor-intensive service inputs on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports from developing countries.The results of the study indicate that:(1)Overall,the service manufacturing industry has a U-shaped relationship with the complexity of manufacturing exports,indicating that there is an inflection point in the role of manufacturing services in promoting the technological complexity of manufacturing exports before the inflection point.The service manufacturing industry will have an inhibitory effect on the technological complexity of manufacturing exports.After the inflection point,the manufacturing service industry will promote the upgrading of manufacturing export technology complexity.(2)There are regional differences in the impact of manufacturing service-based manufacturing on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports.When developed countries are sampled,the service-oriented manufacturing industry has a U-shaped relationship with the technical complexity of manufacturing exports,while developing countries are At the time of sample,the service-oriented manufacturing industry did not significantly promote the technical complexity of manufacturing exports.(3)Based on the heterogeneity of service factor inputs,it is found that labor-intensive transport service and knowledge-intensive financial telecommunication services have a greater impact on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports.Labor-intensive manufacturing The impact of the complexity of export technology is negative,and the knowledge-intensive financial telecommunication service has a significant role in promoting the technological complexity of manufacturing exports.Therefore,the government should vigorously develop information technology services and financial services oriented to manufacturing,accelerate the development of R&D technology,intellectual property rights,science and technology consulting,human resources services,and improve the supportability for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries. |
