With the development of national economy,people take more attention to the requirement of quality of life,food safety,and health of the diet.In recent years,the news about food safety has been in the press,"food saftey" has become a Key word which rela tes to the nation politics and the people's lives,it has draw everyone's unprecedented attentions.Therefore,how to fully understand the causes of food safety problems,seize the key factors that restrict the occurrence of food safety problems,and further explore ways and means to effectively solve the problem of food safety in order to better allocate social resources,government resources,and take targeted Management measures to establish a long-term mechanism for food safety management,the formation of an effective management of food safety management system,is the need to focus on the current study of the problem.Based on the related concepts and the literature review,This paper analyzes the function of food safety supervision of government departments in Meizhou C ity as an example.At first,this paper explains background,significance,ideas and method of the research,and then USES the literature Research to review the relevant research,analysis the orientation in work of government departments in the food safety supervision.It comes out that the industrial and commercial administration departments in accordance with existing laws and regulations and authorized by the state council,is responsible for the supervision and administration of food circulation,on the food environment purification,and plays a decisive role to build a harmonious and comfortable consumption space.On the basis of this,this paper adopts the method of questionnaire investigation and social research to study the present status of food safety regulation in meizhou city,and selects the consumers,food business operators,the staff of food safety supervision department as the object of investigation,to research The extent and level of concern about food safety issues,the views of food business operators and the staff of food safety supervision on the responsibilities and the existing problems,the view of consumers and food operators in food safety work in our city,as well as whether the consumers,food business operators,food regulators satisfy with the work of Meizhou's ministry of commerce and industry of food safety supervision.Concluded that the meizhou city government departments for the new revision of the "food safety law" and food safety regulatory system propaganda is not enough,especially the understanding of the laws and regulations of the food business operators is still very low;Food business operators in pursuit of high profits and high yield,desperate inferior food production,in order to get dishonest gain.Consumers and food safety problems caused by the struggle are not very struggle;Main problems of the ministry of commerce and industry in food regulation is daily supervision does not reach the designated position,relying too much on special raids,and not enough law enforcement in processing,did not have the effect of deter criminal suspects,makes the suspect's crime cost is low.
