This study describes the phenomena that the marketing staff of the S securities business department can't adapt to the development of the transformation business in the aspects of professional skills,mentality,behavior and so on.The researcher analyzes the problems in the management of the marketing staff of the S securities business department,and tries to find a way to improve the management level of marketing staff from the perspective of competency theory.The study mainly adopts the method of literature summary,behavioral events andquestionnaire survey.By collecting and summarizing classic competency theory and important research literature,focusing on the construction method of competency model,summarizing the application of competency model in the financial,the researcher sorts out the preliminary competency characteristics of marketing staff.Then,based on the research specimens of the marketing staff of the S securities business department,the researcher uses the JCAM step to carry out the conduct event interview(BEI)to carry out the sample survey.This study summarizes the main competence characteristics of the marketing staff with excellent performance and the level of performance,and has a clear definition of the above features.Then,the researcher further revises the competency model through the questionnaire survey method.The model consists of 4 characteristics:achievement and orientation,impact and impact,management,tenure and personal efficacy and 11 specific competencies,such as achievement orientation and initiative.Finally,the researcher also puts forward some personal suggestions on how to use the model for marketing staff management.The cases selected in this article are representative.The problem of this paper is the common problem in the transition period of the whole securities industry.The time point of this study is highly pertinent.The results of this study provide a reference for the management of talent inventory,recruitment,training and performance assessment in the securities industry of the transitional period.
