Under the current globalized supply chain management environment,the market has been described as "Changing is the only certain thing." In such a turbulent market,enterprises must constantly adjust their business processes to identify and eliminate any possible in-efficiencies,then to adapt to the new opportunities and changes,for its own survival and development.At the same time,as supply chain processes continue to expand,supply chains become more and more complex,this lead to greater supply chain risk.The author of this article has spent more than 9 years in the purchasing department of the International Purchasing Office of Company K,a large supermarket with the headquarter in Germany.Therefore,this article conducts the research on the daily purchasing business process of K supermarket.Based on the theories of Supply Chain Process Management and Supply Chain Risk Management,this paper first uses Work Breakdown Structure to find out the possible problems and then defines different risk factors.At the same time,by using AHP method,the risk factors of procurement project were assessed along with the risk measures.Later this paper proposes how to establish a Risk Management Department to follow up the maintenance of risk measures.Meanwhile,this paper puts forward some ideas of process improvement from the macroscopic point of view to the process of K company purchasing project.This article is not only instructive for the future development of Process Management and Risk Management of Company K,but also has some references for the supply chain management of International Purchasing Office or Purchasing Agent with the same type,hopefully.
