China is an important production and trade power of world aquatic products. The import and export trade of aquatic products accounts for nearly 8% of the total amount of global aquatic products trade. In the aquatic products trade, the eleven coastal provinces(regions and cities)occupy the leading position of production and trade, and play an important role and play an important role.In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's export of aquatic products has made considerable progress in the number of trade and trade, but the export products and processing methods are still based on primary products and materials processing, and the competitiveness and added value of products are not high, especially in Southeast Asia, especially ASEAN,especially ASEAN since twenty-first Century. The rise of export market is bound to form an ununderestimated competitiveness of China's aquatic products export trade, and the competition situation is not optimistic. Therefore, studying the competitiveness of aquatic products export trade in coastal provinces has important practical significance for formulating strategies that are conducive to the competition of export trade.Through consulting the related literatures and concepts of domestic and foreign aquatic products trade, this paper combs and sums up the relevant research and empirical research methods at home and abroad, analyzes the current situation and existing problems of aquatic products export trade in coastal provinces, calculates the competitiveness index and establishes factor analysis model to the aquatic products in coastal provinces. The strength of export competitiveness is demonstrated, and suggestions for future export trade of aquatic products in coastal provinces are put forward. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)the coastal provinces occupy a dominant position in the import and export trade of aquatic products in China, and the development momentum is stable.Among them, the export volume of Shandong,Fujian and Liaoning accounts for more than 60% of the total export of the coastal areas.Among the coastal provinces, the provinces with strong export ability are Shandong,Fujian,Liaoning,Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces in five provinces. The main export varieties are shrimp and shellfish, which account for 12.24% and 11.22% of the export proportion of the general trade. The main export targets are Japan, the United States,South Korea and the EU.Among them, the total export of Shandong reaches the highest,11 billion 137 million 996 thousand and 900 tons, and Fujian's export value is the highest, and it is 5 billion 854 million 455 thousand and 100 US dollars. In the coastal provinces, because of their unique regional advantages, the aquatic products processing industry is more developed. The number of aquatic products processing enterprises has increased from 7750 in 2002 to 8781 in2016,with a growth rate of 13.3%.The total processing volume of aquatic products enterprises also increased from 7 million 19 thousand and 300 tons in 2002 to 19 million 512 thousand and 600 tons in 2016,with a growth rate of 177.98%.(2)in the export trade of aquatic products in coastal provinces, the export value of aquatic products is low,the hidden danger of the quality and safety is serious, the export dependence is high, the export market is narrow, the trade competition is fierce, and the export resistance is large.(3)through the calculation of trade competitiveness index, display comparative advantage index and pure export comparative advantage index,it is concluded that the export trade of aquatic products in coastal provinces has comparative advantage and competitive advantage. Therefore,we should continue to develop and strengthen the export trade of aquatic products in coastal provinces, and improve their export earning capacity.(4)Shandong Province,Hainan Province,Fujian Province,Zhejiang Province,Guangxi autonomous region,Guangdong Province,Liaoning Province, seven provinces and regions have strong competitiveness in the export of aquatic products, which are in the forefront of the coastal eleven provinces. The export competitiveness of aquatic products trade in Tianjin and Shanghai is weak. The absolute ranking of Shandong's rankings was the first, with a score of 0.55,mainly due to a higher score of the common factor C1(aquatic product export capability)factor.Secondly,Hainan Province, its score is 0.42,with a great momentum of growth, although from the number of the two provinces, the gap is relatively large, but can not only from the point of view of the absolute number,Hainan is less trade, but in recent years(2014-2016),the development of aquatic products in Hainan province is very fast, and increased water. The development of product export trade, from the relative index C3 export advantage factor, for example growth rate, its aquatic product export growth rate is close to fifty percent,so its competitiveness is particularly prominent. At the same time,Tianjin and Shanghai have the lowest score, which is largely due to the import of aquatic products, and the overall export volume and the export amount are lower than those of other coastal provinces. Each index is not dominant,so the score of the three factors is low.The main reason for Guangxi's top score is that the scores of the C2 export competitiveness factor(including the export growth advantage index, the trade competitiveness index, the cost index)are higher and the score is up to 1.04,which has a significant impact on the competitiveness of Guangxi's export competitiveness. The score of Liaoning factor is less than that of the C2 export competitiveness factor(including export growth advantage index, trade competitiveness index, cost index),which has a significant impact on the competitiveness of Liaoning's export competitiveness. In this regard, the main suggestions are as follows.(1)optimize the export structure of aquatic products in coastal provinces and expand emerging markets.(2)promote the intensive processing of coastal identity aquatic products and increase the added value of aquatic products exports.(3)improve the quality management and monitoring system of aquatic products export in coastal provinces, and provide quality guarantee for aquatic products export.
