Analysis Of Impacts On Technical Barrier To Trade In China's Aquatic Products Export

China has abundant aquatic products, and also has great export trade. Due to its nutritional richness, delicious taste, high protein, low fat and good balance of nutrition, people like it very much, the consumption increase greatly gradually. Since the 90s of last century, our aquatic products grow very quickly, it created a new record again in 2006, export amounts was 3.1 million ton, export value was 9.4 billion dollars. The value retained No.1 in the world for 5 years. Aquatic products export plays a prominent role in the agricultutal products export of our country, remained primacy in the kind of large amount agricultural products export for 6 years. The key partner is Japan, USA, Korea and EU. Due to its large amount, low price, these countries set up strict technical criterion for our aquatic products, so encountering technical barriers is unavoidable.This article firstly introduced the trade condition of Chinese aquatic products, such as international status, position in agricultural products export, general situation of aquatic products export trade, export market, trade mode, etc. Then pointed out the problems existed in Chinese aquatic products export, including qulity and safty problem, product structure and process method, technical barriers, etc.Secondly, this article adopted list method to analyze total status of technical barriers which aquatic products encountered systemically. According to the main export market, such as Japan, EU, USA and Korea, analysed the aimed kind, origin, influence of main barrier events; summarized the records of withdraw in the trading with main partners in 2006, including times and reason . Found out that the main reason of withdraw was because of the unwanted drugs in the honey. Then this article evaluated the double influence of technical barriers to our aquatic products export.Thirdly, This article used the gravity model to analyse the influence of technical barriers quantitatively, then took the ell export of Fu Jian province for example, summarize the relative enterprise's successful experience about overcoming the technical barriers, and gave other aquatic product and export enterprises some revelation.Fourthly, this article compared the aquatic products criterion between China and International organization, key import countries, analyzed the difference, find the main problems existing in our own aquatic products criterion.At last, this article gave some advice to overcome the technical barriers for the Chinese aquatic products export.
