Study On Land Abandonment In Poor Mountain Area Of Lvliang

With the accelerating process of urbanization in our country,the rural population is continuously losing and large amount of land in rural areas are widely abandoned,which has greatly affected the structure of both rural labor force and regional economic structure.Consequently,in the future,these issues will influence the rural production structure for a long time.Z County is a typical loess hilly-gully region,where soil erosion is serious and agricultural land reclamation is not uncommon.Currently,Chinese relevant research on land reclamation is mainly conducted from the macroscopic perspective,which means it analyzes problems that exist in agrarian waste based on both social and regional economic.However,analysis from the subjective perspective of the farmers is more realistic.Therefore,this study is conducted from the perspective of farmers,selecting 300 households in Z County to issue survey questionnaires,and then collecting and analyzing prime data to classify the amount and structure of agricultural land in Z County.Finally,conclude the reasons for this problem from the subjective perspective of the farmers.The difficulty of this study lies in the identification of recessive and abandoned agricultural land.The innovations are:first,apply the DEA method to measure the recessive agricultural land reclamation;second,apply the sampling method for the calculation of wasteland farmland.That is to conduct a census of agricultural land in wasteland of a small area,then get the number of wasteland,calculate the proportion of it in a small area,and use the proportion to estimate the agricultural land in the entire areas of Z County.Although,the results obtained by this calculation method may a little differ from the actual data in Z County,this method can help us more intuitively understand the actual situation of the current regional abandonment problem.On the basis of the analysis of related data,we can find the reasons for the abandoned agricultural land in Z County which therefore can provide scientific solutions for solving the related problems.
