An Analysis Of The Determinants Of China And Kyrgyzstan Bilateral Trade

Since1994China and Kyrgyzstan have established a diplomatic ties and throughout the time they have maintained a good trade relations,they have developed a national strategic partnership giving a strong foundation for an international trade cooperation between both countries.While the Chinese government is vowing to continue to support and vigorously develop investment in central Asia,this provide a more stable political environment for bilateral trade cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan.In recent years,bilateral trade's volume between the two countries has maintained a high growth,in 2016,Kyrgyzstan imports from China rose up to 50%this added a growth of about 110%to china's export.The cooperation between the two countries in financial investment,energy and mining,cultural exchange,etc,also maintained a harmonious and stable development.In 2013,China put forward the "one belt one road" initiative,Kyrgyzstan being one of the countries along the silk road that initiative will enhance Kyrgyz economy,most importantly Kyrgyzstan shares the same border with China,a border of around 1100 km of length,this will accelerate the bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries and have an important strategic significance on both sides.As China's "silk road" is hugely building and accelerating the regional economy,the bilateral trade has developed rapidly,bilateral trade volume has increased the total amount of trade cooperation scale from small to large,progressive development and commodity import and export structure has been optimized.All those progress and improvement not only brought through the bilateral trade between the two countries an economic benefits but also brought some problems in the trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.n the process of the bilateral trade cooperation between both countries there are some problems and factors that affects and restricts the further development of bilateral trade cooperation,for instance in Kyrgyzstan there is a single industrial structure,product structure level is low,for the policy environment,the religious factors,etc.These problems directly or indirectly restrict the further deepening of bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries.At present,the global economic development in the redistribution of resources boom,is located in the important hinterland of the central Asia,Kyrgyzstan research between China and countries along the "silk road economic belt" important Kyrgyzstan's bilateral economic and trade development and its economic and trade partner,to promote bilateral economic prosperity and regional economic cooperation between the two countries and implement trade have important practical significance.The economic and trade relationship between China and Kyrgyzstan is getting closer and closer,but there are many problems that need to be solved urgently.So this article tries to analyze the present situation of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries,this paper studies influence factors of the development of trade between the two countries,in the use of literature research and empirical research method of combining the unearthed in the main problems existing in the economic and trade cooperation,combining policy initiatives,the silk road economic belt on both sides in optimization of the economic and trade development put forward reasonable countermeasures and Suggestions.The main content of this paper is divided into three parts:The first part include the first chapter and the second chapter.It is mainly elaborated under the background of the current global economic development,the research background and significance of China and Kyrgyzstan trade and economic cooperation,and sums up the experience of forefathers' research,main research direction is put forward in this paper,combining with the relevant theory of international trade and international investment describes the study of the theory basis of bilateral trade.The second part include chapter 3 and chapter 4,it's mainly elaborated from the trade.Trade commodity structure and trading main body was studied in both sides of the trade status quo,based on the research of present situation,it is concluded that the trade of both sides to the low level of trade scale,import and export structure imbalance,imbalance in the structure of trade in goods,trade main problems such as weak and single.The fourth chapter through the empirical method studies the influence of the related factors of trade between the two countries,including the economic scale,population,cultural differences between the two countries,China's direct investment to Kyrgyzstan,the economic geography and secondary factors are in the same area of economic cooperation organization,the study found that China's GDP growth and population growth on the positive impact on bilateral trade volume,cultural factors,the economic geography and whether,in the same regional economic cooperation,organization in the volume of trade between the two countries have a significant impact.The third part is the fifth chapter,mainly based on the above analysis,from the "use of industrial complementary advantages,optimize the trade structure","strengthen cultural exchanges,promote trade development","all the way from the 'area' initiative,establish free trade area","improve the introduction of foreign investment policy,deepen trade level","to strengthen the construction of trade facilitation,reduce barriers to trade" five aspects to Kyrgyzstan puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions to promote the development of bilateral trade.
