Driven by the raped development of China's national economy,China's pump manufacturing industry has achieved a leapfrogging development during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period,which is much higher than the growth rate of China's GDP.Although the 12th Five-Year Plan period has slowed down the growth rate,it still maintains the upward trend.Therefore,the 13th Five-Year Plan period will still be the golden period for the development of China's pump manufacturing industry.In the next 3 to 5 years,the domestic pump industry will still maintain a growth rate of 11%to 12%.Based on an average annual growth rate ofll%,the output value of China's pumping industry is estimated to be 82 billion yuan in 2017.In 2020,China's pump market capacity will exceed 100 billion yuan.YB Company was founded in 1956 and covers an area of more than 300 acres.It mainly operates water pumps and hydro generator sets.It is a professional factory for large-scale pumps and turbines designated by the Ministry of Machinery Industry.It is the main and auxiliary equipment supplier of national key water Conservancy projects.In the past two years,the company has encountered some problems that have hindered the development of its enterprises,entered a difficult development bottleneck,and its development direction is not clear.Whether it is market share,product advantage,or profitability,it has encountered many problems.Some of the original competitive changed.With the trend of economic globalization and a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,the competition in the pump manufacturing industry has become increasingly fierce.Formulating and implementing a reasonable development strategy has become an important research topic for hydraulic machinery enterprises.This paper takes YB company as the research object,obtains YB company various data through company investigation and historical investigation,and uses "PEST" analysis method,"Five Forces Model" and "SWOT" analysis method to study and analyze the internal and external environment of YB company.Formulate the development strategy and implementation plan in line with the company,and provide certain reference to other enterprises in the same industry.This article consists of six chapters:the first chapter introduction part,explains the background and significance of this article,and summarizes the domestic related foreign literature,and determines the research method and technical route of this article.The second chapter introduces the relevant concepts and theoretical foundation of strategic management,which lays the theoretical foundation for the follow-up study.The third chapter gives a brief overview of YB company and analyzes the strategic environment of the company.Chapter 4 draws the company 's development strategy and competition strategy according to the internal and external environment using SWOT analysis tools.The fifth chapter puts forward the guarantee conditions and countermeasures for the implementation of YB development strategy.The sixth chapter summarizes,gives the research conclusion and puts forward the deficiency.Through the analysis,this paper believes that on the strategic level,YB company should adopt the overall strategy of "growth strategy"and the competition strategy of "differentiated and cost leading".
