As the enhancement of national food safety awareness has sustainably grown nowadays,China has begun to explore the construction of food traceability system in these years.With this regulatory tool being considered as an effective measure,key regulatory system to a lower rate of food safety risk has been founded,including the establishment of a system of government regulation as the main body and self–regulatory supply chain corporations as bottom line.Located in the northwest of China,Xinjiang still has economic gap with developed coastal areas,making Xinjiang's the food safety traceability system construction still not as well-performed as in developed area.Research of relevant subject is aiming at establishing and improving the quality and safety traceability system of Xinjiang eggs via the study of related background and so as to bring the effectiveness of overall food safety construction.This paper has analyzed egg quality traceability from both producer and consumer perspectives.Egg's production,circulation and consumption status have been initially studied,indicating that residents' egg consumption is insufficient,but the market potential of Xinjiang area is big.It is also pointed out that the imperfect laws and regulations is one of the important factors that causes the lack of quality and safety traceability system,and the production enterprises have tried their best to explore and construct traceability system through their own efforts.Taking Xinjiang LianFuTao Food Ltd as an example,this research also introduced the production,distribution and sales process of egg enterprises via the analysis of sorting out the egg production enterprise traceability system construction in the accumulation of experience in the egg.This paper also suggest that egg enterprise could be thrived with high-tech hardware equipment,large local market share,strong financial support and diversified cooperation development strategy etc.Besides,from consumers' view,5 cities in Xinjiang: Urumqi,Changji,Shihezi,Kuitun and Karamay have been chosen as the sample areas,and this paper has the collected data information by questionnaire survey,then screened the survey data with the binary logistic model to make empirical analysis on the influencing factors of consumer intention on egg quality and safety traceability.What has been turned out is that the number of consumers lacks of the awareness and understanding of the content of the basic information to traceable egg brand,egg trademark,certification,and egg quality system.Affected by our entire food safety environment,a wait-and-see attitude has been chosen by large amount of customers,which made traceability still in its infant stage and lower food safety awareness for Xinjiang egg buyers.Finally,conclusions of this paper put forward some suggestions on how to improve the consumer's willingness to accept the quality and safety of eggs consumption from levels of government,enterprises,the consumers themselves.
