Study On Regional Size Difference And Influencing Factors Of Inbound Tourism In Henan Province

As an important measure to measure the level of globalization and industrial maturity of a country or region’s tourism industry,inbound tourism plays a crucial role in a country’s economic development,cultural soft power enhancement and opening up.Henan Province is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains.It has abundant tourism resources,superior geographical position and obvious advantages in developing tourism.However,in recent years,the development of inbound tourism in Henan Province has achieved rapid development,and the level of development is not high,which is in the middle of the country,and the trend of regional differentiation of inbound tourism development is becoming more and more obvious.In order to promote the rational development of tourism in Henan Province and improve the competitiveness of tourism,it is of great value and role to analyze the regional tourism differences in depth.Firstly,this paper analyses the research progress of inbound tourism at home and abroad,combs and summarizes the research status of inbound tourism,inbound tourism scale differences and inbound tourism scale differences in Henan Province;secondly,it expounds the concepts and basic theories related to inbound tourism;secondly,based on the relevant statistical data of inbound tourism market in Henan Province from 2008 to 2017,it summarizes the current situation of inbound tourism in The difference of scale and rank-scale distribution of inbound tourism are analyzed,including standard deviation,extreme deviation,average deviation,coefficient of variation and Gini coefficient,etc.The internal difference of inbound tourism is analyzed by Theil index,and the difference of rank-scale is studied by SPSS 22.0.The research results of predecessors and the actual situation of Henan Province are used for reference again.In this paper,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis are used to analyze the influencing factors that lead to the difference of the scale of inbound tourism in Henan Province,and the main influencing factors of the development of inbound tourism in Henan Province are identified.Finally,combined with the previous analysis,the paper puts forward the optimization and promotion strategy of the regional development of inbound tourismin Henan Province.After a systematic study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There is an imbalance in the regional development of inbound tourism in Henan Province,and the absolute regional differences of inbound tourism economy in Henan Province are expanding,but the relative differences are decreasing.(2)There are significant differences in the economy of inbound tourism among cities in Henan Province,which are mainly caused by inter-regional differences;inter-regional differences are mainly the result of inter-regional differences between core cities and southern Taihang tourist areas;intra-regional differences are the result of inter-regional differences between central and southern Taihang tourist areas;central and southern Taihang tourist areas > Funiushan tourist areas > Eastern Henan plain tourist areas >Tongbai-Dabie tourist areas > core urban tourist areas.Differences.(3)The first distribution of the scale of inbound tourism in Henan Province is very significant.The scale of inbound tourism fits well with the rank,which accords with the rank-scale distribution.(4)In addition to political factors,economic factors,cultural factors and special events,the factors affecting the scale of inbound tourism in Henan Province also have an important impact on the scale of inbound tourism in Henan Province,such as tourism resource endowment,location conditions,tourism service facilities,foreign economy and economic development level.Among them,tourism resources endowment and tourism service facilities are significantly positively correlated;location conditions,the level of economic development of each region and foreign economy also have an impact,but the impact is not significant.(5)Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of the difference in the scale of inbound tourism in Henan Province,this paper puts forward the suggesstions for optimizing and upgrading the development of inbound tourism in Henan Province.
