Study On The Impact Of Xiamen Government Research Fund Investment On The Development Of Agricultural And Sideline Food Processing Enterprises

The government’s investment in scientific research is an important means to support scientific research and innovation in enterprises.The investment in scientific research by the Xiamen Municipal Government plays an active role in stimulating research and innovation activities.Taking agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises as the input object,this thesis discussed how the Xiamen science and technology supporting policy was carried out,which kind of influence it has on the agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises,and finally puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions on this basis.This paper consists of five parts.First,the concept of government research funding and agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises was defined.The relevant theories of the subject,such as Marxist political economics,market failure theory,innovation theory,externality theory,input-output theory,etc.,were explained,which lays a theoretical foundation for further analysis.Secondly,it analyzed the status quo of scientific research and innovation of Xiamen agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises.The development profile of Xiamen agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises and the research and innovation activities carried out was described,and the problems were found out.For solving problems in the research and innovation of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises,the government should increase the investment to improve the innovation ability of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises in Xiamen.Third,the general situation of the investment of scientific research funds into agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises from the perspective of the government was analyzed.The Xiamen government’s research funding investment policy was sorted out.On this basis,the basic situation of scientific research funds invested in agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises was expounded,and the problems existing in the current Xiamen government research funds invested in agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises were revealed.Fourth,taking seven agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises as sample enterprises,the impact of Xiamen government research funding on agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises was discussed comparatively.The research goal of discovering thespecific impact of research funding on the development of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises was established,and the sample enterprise scope and questionnaire content were designed.Then,through the descriptive statistics method and the comparative method,the sample enterprises were empirically analyzed and the conclusions were drawn.In conclusion,the government’s investment in science and technology funds has a positive impact on agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises,and the government can also get returns and ultimately increase social welfare.However,there are also “Matthew effect” and“crowding effect” that restrict the positive role of research funding.Finally,suggestions were made for the development of Xiamen government research funds to assist the development of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises.It mainly includes sound science and technology policy support system,scientific management of scientific research funds,supervision of scientific research capital investment,scientific and technological innovation activities of small and medium-sized agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises,and suggestions for improving the research funding of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises.This study investigated the impact of Xiamen government research funding on the development of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises.It not only focuses on the analysis of current problems in the management of scientific research funds,but also based on the policies and regulations of Xiamen’s scientific research input.It also combined with the industry characteristics and actual conditions of agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises and used seven sample enterprises to conduct empirical analysis,Reasonable and effective improvement suggestions.To provide theoretical guidance for the effective management of scientific research funds of the Xiamen government in the future,and to achieve the goal of “leveraging” in the agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises.
