The rise and fall of manufacturing industry is closely related to the economic development of the country,and the agricultural and non-staple food processing industry is an important part of the manufacturing industry.It is also the leading line of agriculture and industry,the three blood connections,the development of agricultural and sideline food processing industry can not only promote the continuous development of agriculture,but also promote the further industry.Therefore,the vigorous development of agriculture and manufacturing industry is inseparable from the prosperity of the processing industry of agriculture and non-staple food.Using the micro level data of 2005-2013 year agricultural and sideline food processing enterprises,this paper uses the SFA method to calculate the TFP of the agricultural and sideline food processing industry,and subdivides the agricultural and sideline food processing industry into 8 sub industries through three bit code.On this basis,the technical efficiency of the different areas and different ownership enterprises is further improved.We conduct comparative analysis,and take technical efficiency as the breakthrough point,establish multiple regression model to analyze the influencing factors,and draw the following conclusions:(1)the annual average value of TFP in China's agro food processing industry is5.8795,and the average value of TE is 0.5637.The total TFP growth rate of China's agro food processing industry is 1%-5%,the annual growth rate is 1.08%,and the annual growth rate of TE is 1.43%.(2)sub industry efficiency of agricultural and sideline food processingindustry is different.The mean value of TFP in eight sub sectors is 5.8160,and themean value of TE is 0.5558.The feed processing industry has the highestproductivity and efficiency,and the sugar industry has the lowest productivity andefficiency.(3)the total factor productivity and technical efficiency between different ownership enterprises are quite different.TFP and TE of foreign-funded enterprises are the highest.Private enterprises are in the middle and state-owned enterprises have the lowest efficiency.The reform of state-owned enterprises still needs to be deepened.(4)the resources and economic advantages,Inner Mongolia,Henan,Hubei,Shandong,Jiangsu and other places of total factor productivity and technical efficiency in a higher level of efficiency,Xinjiang,Tibet,Qinghai,Guizhou and other remote provinces of the total factor productivity and technical efficiency is low.(5)as far as technological efficiency of agricultural and sideline processing industry is concerned,human capital,enterprise scale,FDI and business innovation all show positive promotion,and all of them pass 1% significant tests.According to the above conclusions,puts forward some corresponding suggestions:(1)to increase the input of scientific research and innovation and improve the technological level of enterprises.;(2)the company adhere to reform and create a fair and competitive business environment;(3)increase investment in education and improve the quality of talents;(4)to accelerate the upgrading and transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises,and form industrial scale.;(5)actively introduce foreign capital,improve the ability of independent innovation.
