Research On Comparision And The Influential Factors Of Policy Bank Efficiency

During the past 30 years,bank efficiency has constantly risen the focus in the international financial field as well as regulation authorities.However,most discussions on this topic has been limited in commercial banks,while efficiency of policy banks was seldom involved.As the foundation of economy and social development,the efficiency of policy banks has huge influence on the whole country.Therefore,comparing and analyzing the decisive factors become fairly important.Based on the existing literature and research method,this thesis collects the data of the input-output indicator of 40 policy banks.Firstly,this thesis measures the policy bank efficiency using the CCR model,BBC model and DEA model,and regresses the Tobit model for influential factor analysis.In the end,we put forward several suggestions to promote China's policy bank efficiency.This thesis concludes:(1)the overall efficiency of policy banks worldwide has an increasing trend between 2011-2017,but the gap among them also expanded;(2)there exists a huge difference between the developing countries and developed countries,while we can see a constant decline of policy bank efficiency in developed countries:(3)The policy banks in China were repositioned in 2015 and thereafter the efficiency increased markedly.(4)the scale,asset quality,stuff training,stability,innovation and cost management have distinct influence on bank efficiency,which reflects the importance of self-management of bank efficiency promotion.
