Research On The Relationship Between Entrepreneur Mental Model,Error Learning And Enterprise Performance

With the rapid development of economy,technology and culture,more and more people will engage in entrepreneurial activities in the context of "mass innovation and entrepreneurship".However,due to the lack of capital,information,technology,human resources and other resources in the initial stage of entrepreneurship,entrepreneurs are bound to make mistakes,and entrepreneurial risks always exist.Therefore,it is of great practical and theoretical significance to study how entrepreneurs make use of their mental models to learn from failures and learn from mistakes in a dynamic environment so as to obtain better business performance.This article from the "consciousness,behavior,and the results of this research path,through the extensive research of literature on related literature and explore,and then using a semi-structured interview method,selection of Hangzhou four start-up entrepreneurs,respectively from the Internet of things,human resource consulting,cross-border new retail and Internet recruitment industry)for the interview and case analysis,in the group on the basis of case study,extracting relevant proposition and establish the theoretical model,for empirical research.To further test the theoretical model,this paper takes entrepreneurs in Hangzhou as the research object and conducts a large sample study.First in this paper,50 entrepreneur founders mental model is developed with the small sample of the questionnaire,second in formal measurement,the questionnaire survey of 300 entrepreneurs from different industries,access to effective questionnaire 271,then of the questionnaire by SPSS20.0 and AMOS21.0 letter validity analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,and use the Process plug-in to test the regulation effect,the mental models to the entrepreneurs,error learning,dynamic environment and corporate performance,the relationship between the four study.The results showed that the mental model and error learning of entrepreneurs were positively correlated with enterprise performance.There was a significant positive correlation between entrepreneur mental model and error learning.Error learning plays an intermediary role in the relationship between entrepreneurs’ mental model and enterprise performance.Environmental dynamics plays a positive role in error learning and enterprise performance.Environmental dynamics positively moderates the mediating role of error learning.In addition,this paper also concludes that prior knowledge has a more significant impact on enterprise performance.The above research results are helpful to expand our understanding of the relationship between entrepreneurs’ mental model,error learning,environmental dynamics and enterprise performance,as well as the complex relationship combination model,and have certain theoretical significance for the application of the research path of "consciousness--behavior--result".At the same time,it is of practical significance for entrepreneurs to use their mental models and adopt different ways of learning mistakes to overcome setbacks and achieve higher business performance under the background of the new era and the dynamic nature of different environments.
