Research On The Influence Of Reverse Technology Spillover On Export Technology Complexity Of OFDI In China

Since the end of 20th century,with the gradual advancement of reform and opening up,China's foreign direct investment activities into a high-speed development stage.The growth rate of the total flow of foreign direct investment in China is accelerating.At the same time,with the accelerated development of economic globalization,relying on the population dividend and resource advantage to export cheap goods trade mode,has not been in line with the current situation,improve the technical level of export products,improve the structure of foreign trade has become the main problem in China.In order to study whether foreign direct investment can obtain foreign advanced technology and then improve the technical level of China's export products,I combed and read a large number of research literature on this issue,understand the export technology complexity of the measurement methods and related research directions and research results.Through the statistical analysis method,the development status of China's OFDI activities is described comprehensively and objectively.This paper makes a theoretical analysis on the theory of the complexity of export technology,grasps the theoretical basis and calculates the complexity of export technology in China for more than 2004-2016 years,and analyzes the changes of China's export technology structure in recent years.Then,the paper combs the theoretical basis of the reverse technology spillover of foreign direct investment to affect the complexity of export technology,and expounds the conduction path of OFDI reverse technology spillover affecting the complexity of export technology.Finally,an empirical analysis model is established,using 2004-2016 years of upgrade data in China for empirical testing,through the full sample regression analysis of the relationship between the two,at the same time,through the sub-sample regression analysis of OFDI reverse technology spillover impact of export technology complexity in China's regional differences.It is found that the reverse technology spillover of OFDI has a significant effect on the complexity of export technology,and the promotion effect on the east is higher than that in the central and western regions.In addition,human capital,R&d investment,foreign investment and patented technology can enhance the absorption of technology spillover in China's region,although there are some differences in the promotion effect between regions in China,but in general can promote regional technology development,improve the complexity of export technology.Finally,combined with the conclusion of this paper,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
