Corporate social responsibility(CSR),which has long been put forward in western developed countries, has lagged behind in China.CSR requires managers to assume responsibility to stakeholders, such as shareholders, employees, environment, communities and so on,while pursuing high profits. This is the obligation that enterprises must undertake after growing up,but also the only way to long-term development of enterprises.Commercial banks as a special enterprise related to the national economic lifeline,at the same time,it is necessary to actively fulfill the social responsibility. After the China Banking Association issued a document on the implementation of social responsibility in 2009,the social responsibility of commercial banks has been paid more attention to all sides. Moreover, the management of commercial banks cannot be separated from the risk management,in other words, the essence of commercial banks is operating risks.Especially after the 2008 financial crisis, commercial banks pay more attention to their own risk management. Therefore, from the perspective of social responsibility, this paper selects the data of fifteen listed commercial banks in China from 2010 to2017,and reads the literature before the comparison. In order to research the impact of social responsibility of commercial banks on risk management,a panel data regression model is established to study the impact of social responsibility of commercial banks on risk management by using Hexun as the quantitative method of social responsibility and the quantitative index of risk management obtained by principal component analysis. In this way, from the perspective of social responsibility to provide new ideas and theoretical basis for the risk management of commercial banks, and then to provide suggestions for the improvement of the internal control system of commercial banks.According to its shareholders, fifteen listed commercial banks are divided into three categories: large state-owned commercial banks,joint-stock commercial banks and city commercial banks.Through the empirical analysis, the overall, commercialbanks to fulfill social responsibility can indeed reduce its risk;improve the level of risk management. However, the risk management of large state-owned commercial banks is more perfect than other banks. Therefore, the impact of social responsibility on their risk management is not significant. The performance of social responsibility of joint-stock commercial banks has a significant positive impact on its risk management. The impact of risk management on city commercial banks is very significant. Therefore, this study suggests that China's commercial banks, whether large state-owned commercial banks or non-state-owned large commercial banks, need to actively fulfill their social responsibilities, which is not only to meet the needs of the regulatory authorities. In order to improve their own risk management level, and then improve the internal control system of commercial banks. In the course of operation and management, commercial banks can not only pursue short-term benefits, but also refuse to fulfill social responsibility because of the inconspicuous effect of fulfilling social responsibility or the existence of a certain lag in the performance of social responsibility. To fulfill the social responsibility of commercial banks is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of commercial banks.Commercial banks themselves need to pay enough attention to it.At the same time, the supervision departments should also strengthen the supervision at all times so that the commercial banks should do their duty for the stakeholders.
