With the rapid development and deep integration of e-commerce and network technology,the market scale of single-period products(such as fashion apparel,personal electronics,etc.)has gradually expanded,and its supply chain model has also shifted from a single traditional channel to a combination of traditional and online dual?channel,which has greatly improved the company's turnover and operational efficiency.Due to factors such as rapid technological innovation,uncertainties in demand,and timeliness of single-cycle products,etc.-sellers will face the problem of decision-making errors in inventory management,and they must bear the risks such as unbalanced product supply and demand,declining profits and damaged reputation.In order to reduce the risk of imbalances supply and demand of products,improve the effectiveness and economics of inventory decisions,the advance selling strategy began to be widely adopted by sellers on the single-period product supply chain.In view of this,according to the relevant theories such as dual-channel supply chain,advance selling strategy,and single-period supply chain inventory management,this paper adopts newsboy model and numerical simulation to analyze dual-channel supply chain advance selling and inventory joint strategy problems of a single traditional channel,a single online channel,and a combination of traditional and online dual-channel supply chain.According to the theories of supply chain inventory management and advance selling strategies,the sales of single-period products are divided into two phases-advance selling lead time and normal sales period.Firstly,according to the single traditional,online channel supply chain advance selling and inventory decision-making problems,the newsboy model was used to solve and analyze the optimal advance selling discounts and inventory decisions for retailers and manufacturers under single traditional channel and single online channel,and numerical simulation was used to analyze the profit margins under single traditional channel and single online channel.Secondly,according to the combination of traditional and online dual-channel supply chain advance selling and inventory decision-making,the newsboy model was used to build dual-channel supply chain advance selling and centralized,decentralized joint strategy of inventory model.Finally,the optimal advance selling discounts and inventory decisions for the dual-channel centralized,decentralized inventory model were determined,then numerical simulation was used to compare the profit margins.Research indicates:(1)Retailers and manufacturers of single traditional and online channels can use joint strategy of advance selling and inventory to increase the profitability of single-channel supply chains.(2)In the single-period dual-channel supply chain's advance selling and centralized,decentralized inventory joint decision model,the expected total profit function of dual-channel is a concave function about the inventory order quantity,and there exists the only optimal advance selling discount,concentrate inventory decisions amount and independent inventory decisions amount.The following decision-making recommendations are proposed for the joint strategy of advance selling and inventory:(1)When the customer is more sensitive to the price discount for the advance selling lead time and there is no strict requirement for the time of the advance sale extended arrival time,the single-period dual-channel supply chain advance selling and centralized joint strategy of inventory can bring a significant profit increase.(2)When the customer is not sensitive to the advance selling lead time price discount and is unwilling to wait for the arrival of the advance selling product,the single-period dual-channel supply chain advance selling and decentralized joint strategy of inventory can reduce profit loss.
