The Choice Of Opening Mode In China's Border Areas From The Perspective Of Border Effect

In the past forty years since the reform and opening up,due to the strong support of the state's preferential policies,and along the border areas relying on their own geographical advantages,with the help of domestic reform and opening up trend and the international “one belt and one way” initiative,the economic development of the border areas has made remarkable progress in the past forty years.However,there are still many deficiencies in the development of China's border areas,especially in the developed coastal and inland areas.In recent years,the country has been emphasizing the coordinated development of the region in policy,trying to promote the development of the relatively backward border areas with the economic strength of the developed areas,but the overall effect is not obvious.Therefore,how to innovate the opening mode of the existing border areas has become the focus of current related research.It is particularly important to explore a new opening mode for the border areas to give full play to their geographical advantages and achieve catch-up.Taking the “one belt and one road” initiative as the background,this paper constructs a mathematical model based on game theory to make an in-depth comparative analysis of the open mode formed by the local governments participating in the border opening policy,and constructs three open border modes based on game theory,which are joint open mode,parallel open mode,sequential open mode,and then through numerical simulation.This paper compares the performance of opening up along the border between Guangxi and Yunnan,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of three modes of opening up along the border from two aspects of theory and data analysis.This paper finds that the joint opening mode will produce less loss of boundary effect.In theory,the local governments along the border should choose the most open mode,but in practice,the operability of the joint opening mode is poor.At the same time,this paper applies the theory in-depth to the practice of opening up along the border areas.Taking the practice of opening up along the border of Yunnan and Guangxi as an example,combing and comparing the two provinces' opening modes along the border with their existing practice results,hoping to provide theoretical support for the implementation of the policy of opening up along the border of the two provinces and regions.Further,it is hoped that through the promotion of the open mode along the border between Guangxi and Yunnan,it will be of some reference significance to the innovation and promotion of the open mode in other border provinces in China.The conclusion of this paper provides a theoretical basis for the establishment of a more reasonable and effective border regional relationship between the two countries,and from the perspective of game theory and border effect,provides an analysis direction for institutional innovation to promote market integration and narrow the economic gap between the border areas.
