Since China's reform and opening up,China's international trade has developed rapidly,and its attraction for foreign investment has also been rising.China's overseas investment has also been increasing day by day.The healthy macroeconomic conditions have also brought good opportunities to the international business of banks.The Chinese government attaches great importance to the work of foreign trade and economy.It has promulgated a number of favorable policies for foreign trade,promoted the innovation and development of trade,and provided opportunities for enterprises to boost their international business as well.The development of China's foreign-related economy shows the characteristics of facilitation of foreign trade,diversification of foreign investment and globalization of foreign-related economic development.Not only do many Chinese enterprises continue to "go out",but also all kinds of multinational corporations have come to China to establish branches.Cross-border capital revenue and expenditure are becoming increasingly frequent,and enterprises'demand for cross-border capital business is growing.At the same time,in the context of closer and closer international economic and trade relations,China's exchanges with other countries have become very close,and import and export trade,tourism,overseas consumption and so on have maintained a growth trend.If banks want to seize the opportunity of international business development,expand business scale and improve business level in this wave,they must have a high-quality team of international business personnel.Performance appraisal is an important part of human resource management in enterprises,and it is also an important part of the overall management of enterprises.Although the proportion of international business personnel in commercial banks is not high in quantity,it plays an important role in the development of international business of commercial banks.Especially in today's increasingly accelerated pace of economic globalization,the continuous development of foreign-related economy requires commercial banks not only to hold the RMB deposit and loan business,but also to keep up with the level of international business.Scientific and reasonable performance appraisal system for international business personnel can better mobilize the total enthusiasm and initiative of international business personnel of banks,promote the growth of employees themselves,and maintain the stability of the staff,so as to achieve the business objectives of commercial banks in international business,which is in line with their strategic direction.The Wuhu Branch of Bank J was established in the 1990s.It is a municipal branch of a large joint-stock bank.Over the past decades,through continuous efforts,the Wuhu Branch of Bank J has basically realized a network structure with complete functions and wide distribution,ranging from manual operation at the beginning of operation,single business variety to comprehensive electronic core business and full coverage of commercial bank financial business;from two business outlets at the beginning of operation to 19 business outlets at present and nearly 60 self-service outlets.In recent years,the Wuhu Branch of Bank J has been focusing on the local real economy,constantly exploring and innovating,improving the level of customer service,and successfully ranked among the second class A provincial branches in China.As far as international business is concerned,the bank began to carry out international business in Wuhu early,and has gradually acquired brand reputation,market position and familiar customer groups.However,with the increasingly fierce market competition and the increasingly backward management level,the international business of the bank under the jurisdiction of Wuhu has encountered a bottleneck in its development,and its competitiveness has weakened.This paper takes the Wuhu Branch of Bank J as the research object,based on the analysis of the current situation of the performance appraisal system for international business personnel of Bank J Wuhu Branch,and according to the relevant theories of performance appraisal,improves the performance appraisal system.In the process of improvement,on the one hand,referring to the opinions of more international business and related staff,according to the characteristics of international business staff of Bank J Wuhu Branch,we design assessment indicators,on the other hand,we also adopt scientific methods to determine reasonable weights.Through this improvement,we can effectively improve the enthusiasm and efficiency of the international business staff of Bank J Wuhu Branch,and promote their growth,which has important practical significance to enhance the international business competitiveness of Bank J Wuhu Branch.At the same time,it also hopes to provide reference for other banks similar to Bank J Wuhu Branch to carry out performance appraisal of international business personnel.This paper is divided into six chapters.The main contents are as follows:Chapter one is the introduction,which explains the background,significance,purpose and research methods of the research,and summarizes the international and domestic research;Chapter two summarizes the theoretical research on performance appraisal of international banking personnel,explains the meaning of international banking personnel,performance and performance appraisal,and analyses the international banking personnel.The purpose,characteristics and contents of performance appraisal;Chapter 3 mainly analyses the basic situation and characteristics of the international business personnel of Bank J Wuhu Branch,and through questionnaires,analyses the problems existing in the performance appraisal system of the international business personnel of the Bank,and analyses the reasons;Chapter 4 proposes the reform of the performance appraisal system of the international business personnel of Bank J Wuhu Branch.The countermeasures are to improve the existing performance appraisal system by increasing the assessment dimension,refining the assessment indicators,improving the quantification degree,and clarifying the assessment subjects.Chapter 5 puts forward the safeguard measures for the new performance appraisal system.Chapter 6 completes the conclusion of this study and looks forward to the future.
