| Since January 26,2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the supply-side structural reform at the twelfth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Group,the Chinese government has followed the development requirements of economic transformation under the new economic normal,it has intervened in the market economy with policy intervention,hope to use technological innovation as the direction of reform,enhance the quality supply from the production field,and improve the flexibility and adaptability of supply.However,enterprises need to shift from large-scale industrial production to flexible production that meets the diversified needs of consumers.On the one hand,it is necessary to continuously improve product quality.On the other hand,it is also important to meet the needs of individualization and individualization.These undoubtedly require enterprises to work hard on core technologies,pursue higher quality returns brought by technological innovation,and abandon the previous pursuit of low-cost competitive strategies.Since the reform and opening up,China's economic exchanges with countries around the world have become increasingly close,and the degree of opening up to the outside world has been increasing.At the FDI level of the world,China's investment environment has been continuously improved.Therefore,the total amount of FDI flowing into China has increased year by year,which has also made China's economic growth has made great progress.In addition,another reason for the introduction of FDI in China is that it hopes to contact and learn advanced technologies,enhance the technological innovation capability through technology spillovers,and promote the upgrading and development of various industries.Technological innovation has become the guiding direction of China's current supply-side structural reform.It can use and learn advanced technology for enterprises,and on this basis,it can be technologically innovative,and promote the productivity of local enterprises to meet the diversified demand for products.Therefore,in this era,we will improve the supply-side structure at the regional level and contribute to China's economic transformation.How can Shanxi Province use FDI to promote the technology of industry and enterprises Innovation will be one of the important links.Firstly,this thesis uses literature analysis method to study and explore a large number of literatures and works at home and abroad,and combs related concepts and basic theories,analyzes the relevant theories of FDI,and lays a theoretical foundation for the article.On this basis,relevant data of the Central Region and Shanxi Province from 2001 to 2017 were collected.The quantitative analysis method was used to describe the current situation from the aspects of FDI amount,source structure,FDI regional and industrial distribution,R&D investment and patent grant amount.The current situation in Shanxi Province was obtained and prepared for the next empirical study.Then,analyzed from the mechanism of action how FDI affects technological innovation,that is,mainly relies on technology transfer effect and technology spillover effect and has made corresponding analysis in this part.Under the premise of the previous sections,the empirical analys:is method is adopted.Based on the Cobb-Douglas function model,the number of authorized patents is interpreted as the explanatory variable,the FDI,R&D expenditure,and the R&D personnel's full-time equivalent are explanatory variables.The model,through the unit root test,cointegration test,Granger test,found that FDI has a significant positive effect on the technological innovation of the Shanxi ProvinceAfter empirical research,it is found that:Firstly,there is a clear positive correlation between FDI and the improvement of technological innovation capability in the Shanxi Province,which has played a positive role.Secondly,in terms of R&D expenditure,it is the most obvious effect of promoting technological innovation among all variables,showing a very significant positive correlation.Third,the impact of R&D personnel investment on the amount of patent authorization is very significant,but the R&D personnel input has a negative correlation with the amount of patent authorization.That is to say,the large amount of personnel input does not bring about an increase in the number of patent grants.Finally,based on the results of empirical research,several suggestions for how to make good use of FDI and improve technological innovation capability in Shanxi Province are proposed:1.Shanxi Province to strengthen the investment environment;2.Broaden the introduction of FDI in developed countries and Europe,and improve the technical content of FDI.3.Guide the regional flow of FDI and industrial flow;4 Increase the investment of R&D funds in Shanxi Province;5.Increase the high-quality human capital investment of enterprises in Shanxi Province. |
