In 2012,the “Central No.1” document clearly stated for the first time: “Developing modern trading methods such as agricultural products e-commerce”.Since 2012,China's “Central No.1” document has emphasized the importance of the development of agricultural e-commerce enterprises for six consecutive years.A series of traditional corporate incidents with scandals caused by the failure of internal control, from Yinguangxia and Greenland to Sanlu tainted milk powder and Shuanghui lean meat in recent years, caused a turbulence in China's economy. It also triggered the thinking of internal scholars in China on internal control, and sounded the alarm for the development and internal control management of emerging and rapidly developing agricultural products e-commerce enterprises. Therefore,it is necessary to discuss the effectiveness of internal control of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises. This paper first understands the background of the internal control development of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises, and draws on relevant references of internal control at home and abroad to sort out the relevant internal control related theories, which also lays a solid foundation for the empirical research below while learning theoretical knowledge.Secondly, this paper understands the development status of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises and the development status of internal control of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises.Again, based on the above theoretical research and understanding of the development status,11 research hypotheses are proposed. With Excel and Stata software, the sample company's 2015-2017 data is firstly descriptive statistical analysis to understand the characteristics of the sample data. And then perform a correlation analysis to analyze the correlation between the explanatory variable and the interpreted variable. And then perform a fixed-effect multiple regression analysis to verify the relationship between the explanatory variable and the interpreted variable. Finally, based on the empirical analysis conclusions, the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of internal control of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises are proposed.Proportion of independent directors, executive compensation, network security assessment, risk warnings and countermeasures, monitoring system for logistics, disclosure of internal control self-evaluation report and self-evaluation of rules implementation, number of committees under the board of directors. After a series of analyses, the relationship between these factors and the effectiveness of the internal control is significantly positively correlated. The relationship between equity concentration, disclosure of social responsibility reports, number of shareholders' meetings, and the effectiveness of internal control is positively correlated but not significant.Performance appraisal is not related to the effectiveness of the internal control. The most important of these is the discovery of a network security assessment and a monitoring system for logistics that is significantly and positively related to the effectiveness of internal control of agricultural e-commerce companies. This highlights the differences between the factors affecting the effectiveness of internal control of agricultural products e-commerce enterprises and traditional enterprises.Based on the conclusions of empirical analysis, the paper puts forward five suggestions on optimizing the internal environment of internal control, raising the risk awareness of managers, improving the level of control activities, strengthening internal and external information communication, and improving the internal control and supervision system.
