As a famous port country in South Asia and even in Asia,Sri Lanka's demand for infrastructure construction has been huge and urgent since the end of the civil war in 2009.However,due to the downturn in the domestic economic environment and the instability of the political environment,it is difficult to bear huge amounts of money in Public expenditure. The idea of interoperability and mutual benefit in China's Belt and Road Initiative is in line with Sri Lanka's idea of improving infrastructure and economic environment through infrastructure construction. In this context, the research on the radiation effects of Chinese enterprises in infrastructure investment in Sri Lanka has both theoretical and practical significance. From a theoretical point of view, the relevant infrastructure research subjects are mostly biased towards the economic impact of the country, region, and city, and lack corresponding empirical support. This paper combines theoretical analysis and specific infrastructure investment projects to better explain such as employment.Radiation effects from various aspects such as economic growth are more convincing. From a practical point of view, there is indeed a positive radiation effect through empirical infrastructure investment, addressing issues such as conservative perspectives in the infrastructure investment in Sri Lanka, lack of overall considerations, and insufficient awareness of the external value of the project,it will prompt Chinese enterprises to see more clearly the project investment innovation points and places that need attention, which will have practical reference significance for the future sustainable development and transformation of enterprises. The article begins with the interpretation of relevant concepts and the introduction of theory, and defines the presentation of the article on infrastructure investment and radiation theory.A comprehensive analysis of the infrastructure development condition and investment environment in Sri Lanka was subsequently carried out.On this basis, combined with the concept and ideas of radiation theory, further analysis of infrastructure investment projects in Sri Lanka, also through the empirical methods like the unit root test,co-integration test,Granger Causality test to verify infrastructure investment radiation effect externally. The degree and trend of radiation effects are explored by impulse response analysis.Through theoretical analysis and empirical results,it is concluded that the infrastructure investment of Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka has radiation effects on the economic development, employment, taxation, and net inflow of foreign direct investment in the host country. Therefore,it is suggested that the future development of infrastructure investment should pay more attention to the application of radiation effects and risk prevention recommendations, accelerate project innovation as well.In the past literature on infrastructure investment, the application of the concept of radiation was rare. The innovation of this paper lies in the comprehensive analysis of the literature after reference to the research results of a large number of domestic and foreign scholars, using the theoretical-example-positive research logic, and drawing on the theory of unbalanced growth and radiation growth.Combined with the elaboration and analysis of Sri Lanka's foreign contracted engineering market and specific projects,it has made up for the gaps in this part of the research, and through empirical analysis to verify, enhance credibility,as well as provide new ideas for the transformation of Chinese enterprises and project innovation expansion in the future.
