With the acceleration process of economic globalization,domestic and international market competition 1s becoming incandesce,which makes the issue of supplier management began to receive widespread attention.Supplier selection is the key decision-making project to carry out the pre-management of suppliers.At present,the academic circles mainly use the relevant theories to study the problem of supplier selection,while the practice sector is to increase the supplier selection and cooperation to the enterprise strategic development level,and put more energy research and analysis of suppliers to choose a reasonable strategy,and optimize and perfect the evaluation index of supplier selection.Through the rational choice of suppliers not only can effectively increase the efficiency of enterprise supply chain,but also can help enterprises to carry out cost management and provide an important basis for the formulation of strategic decisions.Under this background,this paper first elaborates on the supplier selection research background and significance,defines the research framework and main contents,puts forward the main research methods and main problems;secondly,summanze the relevant theories from the point of view of supplier selection model and cooperation model;then in the vip.com supplier management as a case study,made a deep research and analysis on supplier selection problem exposed from the vip.com business model,strategic development,current status and supplier selection,confirms the vip.com supplier selection index system,reconstructs the supplier selection model;finally,the supplier selection model is applied in practice,then summarize the overall supplier cooperation and management model.
