Both Thailand and China are the largest exporters of agricultural products in the world,also,they are playing an increasingly important role in the trade of agricultural products in Asia.Along with the trade of agricultural products between Thailand and China increasingly close cooperation,the trade in agricultural products in Thailand and China is developing rapidly.Especially with the continuous development of "Belt and Road Initiative "initiative and gradually implement of the FTA itself,will further promote the development of bilateral agricultural products trade between China and Thailand.Under this new era of time,based on the bilateral trade data of agricultural products in China and Thailand in recent years,the study of the history and current situation of the development of bilateral agricultural trade and the change of its influencing factors are of great theotetical and practical significance for promoting bilateral agricultural trade and promoting China's economic growth.Based on literature review and summary theory,this paper first reviews the history of agricultural products trade in China and Thailand,describes and analyzes the current situation,and points out the existing problems in bilateral agricultural trade.Then,from the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper trys to figure out the influence of"the Belt and Road Initiative"on the agricultural products trade between China and Thailand.In the empirical study,first,we use the data of agricultural products import and export from 2002 to 2016 in China and Thailand,and extend the trade gravity model to test the impact of all factors on bilateral agricultural trade,finding that bilateral agricultural trade between China and Thailand,whether import or export,mainly affected by the Chinese and Thailand economies of scale(GDP)between the two countries,the population size(POP),The Belt and Road Initiative(BR)and the degree of development of Internet communication.Through the analysis of the economic significance of "The Belt and Road Initiative",from the construction of agricultural products transportation infrastructure,investment in agricultural production,production technology of agricultural products,to agricultural trade policy and other aspects of the specific impact path,these aspects are put forward in order to discuss its specific influence path.Finally,from the construction of the government policy communication mechanism,improving the agricultural transport infrastructure to reduce transportation costs,paying attention to the application and innovation of agricultural technology to improve agricultural productivity,to using the principle of comparative advantage to adjust the export structure of agricultural products,these aspects are put forward to discuss relevant policy suggestiongs.
