The Research On Influence And Strategy Of Academic Capitalization

The rapid development of science and technology,globalization,the arrival of the knowledge society,and other special Chinese contexts such as reform and opening up and the establishment of a characteristic socialist market economic system with Chinese characteristics have jointly promoted the development and expansion of academic capitalization in China.It is impacting China's scientific research work,higher education and other fields as a highly influential force.Since the development of academic capitalization is inevitable,how can this Western theory be better adapted to Chinese reality,how can it balance the relationship between academic and the market,or between science and society,and avoid excessive academic capitalization?The thesis analyzes the connotation of academic capitalization and the concept of localization.It uses Marx's theory of commodity fetishism and Maslow's hierarchy of needs as the basis to theoretically interpret the phenomenon of academic capitalization,and discuss the motives for the development of academic capitalization in China.It is argued that the reasons for promoting the development of academic capitalization in China mainly include the self-attributes of knowledge,the promotion of social needs,the promotion of state policies,the establishment of a market economic system,the transformation of higher education models,and the low income of university teachers.Consequently,this paper discusses the influence of academic capitalization on China's scientific and technological policy making,knowledge production,knowledge producers and knowledge production institutions by means of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and analyses and thinks dialectically about the current development of academic capitalization in China.On the basis of this,this paper puts forward the suggestions and strategy of academic capitalization on the national level,the institutional level and the personnel level.The thesis provides a practical basis for the development of science and technology,the development of institutions of higher learning and higher education,and the training of national scientific and technological talents in China.For the first time,the use of Marx's theory of commodity fetishism and Maslow's hierarchy of needs to interpret the phenomenon of academic capitalization enriches the perspective of interpretation of academic capitalization and reveals its theoretical significance.The method of quantitative analysis is used to make up for the lack of the previous scholars' research on academic capitalization.Therefore,it has great methodological significance for subsequent academic capitalization research.In addition,the strategy of academic capitalization proposed in the thesis also provide reference for the reform of Chinese universities and the formulation of National science and technology development policies.
