The agricultural products processing enterprises play an important role in the construction of the whole industrial system of agriculture,"promoting agriculture with industry",to promote the development of the agricultural industry with the development of agricultural products processing enterprises,improve the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products become a policy focus in recent years.At the same time,the agricultural products processing enterprises also plays an important role in the protection of the whole process of the steady growth of the national economy,we must pay attention to promoting the agricultural processing enterprises in the national economy construction.To promote the development of agricultural products processing enterprises,the most important is to improve the total factor productivity of agricultural products processing enterprises.The reform of agricultural supply side emphasizes that we should focus on improving the efficiency of resource allocation and improving the productivity of agricultural enterprises.International trade is an important way to optimize the allocation of resources for heterogeneous enterprises.The impact of export on productivity has attracted many scholars' attention and research.According to new trade theory,export trade can affect the TFP through economies of scale effect,technology spillover effect and competition effect,export trade has many domestic and foreign empirical evidence to support the improving effect on productivity.In recent years,with the development of the relevant research in the field of international trade,the new trade theory has been put forward.Through the introduction of the concept of firm heterogeneity,the new trade theory explores the export decision of heterogeneous firms and the impact of export on firm productivity.The empirical research on the effect of export learning is being carried out step by step.On the basis of theoretical analysis and literature review,this paper explores the mechanism of export scale,geographical location and other factors on the total factor productivity of agricultural products processing enterprises.Based on the panel data of 119 Chinese A listed food processing enterprises in 2004-2014,the total factor productivity of China's food processing enterprises was measured by semi-parametric(Levinsohn-petrin)method.On this basis,this paper further analyzes the effect of export scale on the productivity of food processing enterprises by using the method of GMM.At the same time,through the sample data processing,the paper explores the export enterprises in different location,different ownership structure and different geographical location of exports,through the export of the productivity increase.Therefore,the main contents of this paper include two aspects,one is based on finishing A shares listed company's auual report on relevant data to measure the total factor productivity of food processing enterprises(TFP),another one is the further empirical analysis of the impact of export trade on food processing enterprises' productivity in different circumstances.The results show that the scale of export trade has a significant positive effect on the productivity of food processing enterprises.Exports to high-income countries did not bring about an increase in the productivity of food processing companies,and exports to low-income and middle-income countries had a positive effect on productivity.The total factor productivity of the food processing enterprises in the eastern region is higher than that of the food processing enterprises in the central and western regions.The total factor productivity improvement of the state-owned food processing enterprises in the export process is significantly higher than that of private enterprises.Finally,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.
