A Study On The Effect Of Financial Poverty Reduction In Sichuan Province And Its Influencing Factors

Poverty has always been a livelihood issue of great concern,which is more prominent in developing countries.Solving the problem of poverty has always been a difficult point in the work of our government,and it is also the most critical link in the process of building a well-off society.As a modern economy-led financial industry is a necessary way to improve people's livelihood,eliminate poverty and achieve common prosperity.How to give full play to the role of financial poverty reduction plays a decisive role in building a well-off society in Sichuan Province and the whole country in2020.Firstly,this paper combs the relevant research results of domestic and foreign scholars on financial poverty reduction,mainly analyzes the relationship and mechanism between financial development and poverty alleviation,and defines the related concepts on this basis.Based on the reality,this paper analyzes the present situation of poverty,the present situation of financial development and the effect of poverty reduction in Sichuan Province.Then,using the panel data of 21 cities and states in Sichuan Province from 2010 to 2016,the Engel coefficient is selected as the index to measure relative poverty,and the poverty rate is used as the index to measure absolute poverty.Using Panel regression Analysis to study the Financial Development and Poverty Alleviation in Sichuan Province in the past decade The test results show that regional financial development has a positive effect on the alleviation of relative poverty and absolute poverty in Sichuan Province,and the effect of financial development on the alleviation of relative poverty is greater than that of absolute poverty.At the same time,poverty alleviation also plays a positive role in promoting financial development,and the two are Granger causality.In the fifth chapter,the financial poverty reduction effect index is selected as theexplained variable.Firstly,the temporal and spatial characteristics of the financial poverty reduction effect differentiation in Sichuan Province are studied by using the geographic information system analysis method and the imbalance coefficient.The results show that the financial development of Sichuan Province is playing a more and more important role in the process of poverty alleviation,and the effect of financial poverty reduction presents the spatial pattern of "southwest to southeast",and shows a strengthening trend as a whole.From the moving trajectory,the economic center of gravity shows the V "shape change trend of" northwest and then southeast "as a whole.The effect of financial poverty reduction in the southeast direction is further strengthened,and the distribution range of the standard deviation ellipse is "expanded first and then contracted".On the whole,Ziyang City as the core,covering the southeast of Chengdu adjacent cities.There is spillover effect in financial poverty reduction,that is,when the level of financial development and economic development in a region is high,and the poor population is few or few,then the financial development of this region will play a role in alleviating poverty in the surrounding poor areas.The GWR model is used to analyze the influencing factors of the effect of financial poverty reduction in Sichuan Province.the results show that increasing the proportion of added value of the tertiary industry,increasing the openness of trade and expanding the financial scale are beneficial to the effect of financial development on poverty alleviation.Based on the above theoretical and empirical analysis,it is found that we can give full play to the role of finance in poverty alleviation in Sichuan Province by strengthening the linkage between finance and financial poverty alleviation,implementing differentiated financial poverty alleviation policies,and strengthening regional cooperation.
