WJ is a company whose main business is to collect raw plasma.With the intensification of competition in the blood products industry,plasma companies have accelerated the pace of expansion.In order to expand slurry production,it is necessary to develop and maintain the slurry staff,and the main undertaker of this function is the market expansion department.At the beginning of 2017,after restructuring and reform,WJ company cooperated with special training work,to a certain extent,played a role in streamlining organization,reducing costs and improving efficiency.However,the performance level of its market expansion staff still lags behind the benchmark industry.In order to diagnose the current situation of performance management of WJ company's market expansion staff,the author adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview research method as the main research methods.The author reviews the research status of performance management at home and abroad,combs the basic concepts of market expansion,performance and performance management,and considers that performance management is a cycle,which is divided into five steps: performance planning,performance implementation,performance appraisal,performance feedback and interview,and the application of performance results.Then,the author conducted a questionnaire survey and informal interviews with WJ company's market development staff to understand the performance status of the company's market development staff,comments and suggestions.Based on the analysis of the survey data,this paper summarizes the existing problems of performance management in WJ company.The author believes that the performance management of WJ company has achieved some results,and the market expansion staff are satisfied with their overall evaluation,especially the process of performance evaluation is more objective and fair.The market development department has established a good credibility,which lays a good foundation for the future optimization of performance management system.But through the research and statistics,we also find that there are still some problems to be solved urgently: unreasonable performance plan,unscientific decomposition of performance objectives,lack of staff participation in the formulation process;unscientific performance indicators,single indicators,ignoring the diversity of market development work content;lack of performance counseling in performance implementation,and lack of staff participation.The practical difficulties encountered in the work seldom provide effective help and guidance;the results of performance appraisal are not fully applied,but simply regard as the basis of performance bonus distribution,without further linking the results of performance appraisal with training,post adjustment and staff career development.In order to optimize the performance management system of WJ company's market expansion staff,the author finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.To optimize the performance management system of WJ company's market expansion staff,we should base on the analysis of the company's strategic objectives,devote ourselves to the formation of performance management system,and focus on solving the key problems in the process of performance management.The optimization scheme should focus on improving the performance plan,paying attention to performance guidance,enriching the application of performance results,and providing strong guarantee for the company atmosphere,organizational system,rules and regulations,and information construction.
