With the vigorous development of the social economy,consumers are gradually escalating their consumption,and their attention to branded clothing continues to rise.As an industry with high flexibility and uncertainty,commodity inventory has always been a matter of great concern to the industry.Inventory as a current asset will directly reflect the company's financial status.At present,in the course of apparel product management,companies have introduced supply chain management ideas to respond quickly to the new market situation.This paper uses the case analysis method to introduce the existing inventory management model theory,including the concepts of various theories,the assumption basis,the main features,the scope of use and imperfections,and the application scope of various inventory management models.Second,understand the current overall development of the apparel industry,introduce the concept of the more popular fast fashion apparel.In the third part,the case was introduced---Metersbonwe,,and case studies were conducted.The fourth part is about the proposal of Metersbonwe inventory management,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for such listed clothing companies.Improve inventory management methods and focus on inventory management.For de-stocking work,rationalization proposals are not limited to the company's internal control management,integration of upstream and downstream resources of enterprises,use of incremental solutions to inventory problems,speed to combat scale,use inventory rotation to drive profit,and set up a joint inventory management center in the franchise area.The joint inventory management center is responsible for the ordering work of franchisees in the region,and no longer rigidly organizes ordering meetings.Instead,it conducts dynamic management among franchise stores and encourages franchisees to replenish their stocks and purchase goods.Take a diversified inventory management performance evaluation system.According to the current status of the US state apparel,an integrated inventory management performance evaluation system with financial indicators as the core and non-financial indicators such as customer growth rate and return rate as the supplement can be constructed.The new performance evaluation system should balance the internal and external demands of Smith Barney from the perspective of supply chain,and effectively solve the possible contradictions of all parties in the supply chain.Expand e-commerce channels and create omni-channel sales models.In the era of new retail,companies cannot rely solely on experience to do things.This article optimizes its inventory management issues from supplier selection,inventory management performance evaluation system,and product marketing channel management,laying a solid foundation for Metersbonwe Apparel to improve its own supply chain system and improve the overall market competitiveness of the supply chain.And from the point of view of fund optimization,a comprehensive inventory management performance evaluation system is adopted to strive to expand the scale of e-commerce channels and create an omni-channel retail model to further reduce the risk of inventory backlog.
