A Brief Analysis Of Baudrillard's Consumption Society Theory

Jean Baudrilla,French philosopher and master of modern social thought,criticized the capitalist consumer society based on semiotics,revealed the plight of contemporary people,and sought the way of redemption beyond capitalism through symbols and symbols.From the beginning of the last century,western society gradually development pattern dominated by production to become dominated by consumption,the consumption phenomenon resulting problems become philosophers focus of how a consumer society penetration in people's life problem,Baudrillard made a specific analysis,and thus lead the western academic circle theory to explore social problems about consumption boom.By analyzing Baudrillard's consumption society thought,this paper interprets Baudrillard's consumption society theory based on marxist philosophy.Through the study of Baudrillard consumer society,Baudrillard consumer at first,this paper put forward the theory source of social formation,including Marx's ideas of consumption,western marxist theory of consumption society and secondly,this paper introduces the theory of Baudrillard consumer society content,from the connotation and characteristics of consumer society to from content consumption to sign consumption,analyzed the logic of consumer society,Baudrillard consumer society at the same time criticizes.Finally,through the analysis of Baudrillard's consumption society theory,we can see the positive significance and theoretical limitations of Baudrillard's consumption society theory.Combined with the consumption situation of contemporary society in China,we can be inspired to deal with the relationship between production and consumption and build a scientific and healthy consumption model.
