Research On W Company's Working Capital Management Based On Channel Theory

Nowadays,enterprises are being put forward higher requirements with the rapid development of economy and society.The optimization of long-term assets is not enough to meet the needs of their growth.The management of short-term assets is becoming more and more significant.As one of the core contents of short-term financial management,working capital management dominates the financial management activities of enterprises,which is related to the survival and sustainable development of enterprises.The theory of working capital management has undergone a long period of development and basically formed two theories,including traditional working capital management theory with factor management as the core and the theory of working capital management with channel management as the core.Traditional working capital management theory is based on the optimization of various accounting subjects within working capital.It has experienced a long development,but currently it can't make timely changes in the complex economic environment.In recent years,the theory of working capital management,which is newly introduced and improved and based on channel management,focuses on linking with three channels in enterprise activities to optimize channel structure,harmonize channel behavior and improve channel relationship.However,how to put theory into practice still needs to be studied in connection with the actual situation of enterprises.This paper takes W company as the research object,uses scholars' excellent ideas about working capital management for the current status of its working capital management,and participates in the internship by putting theory into practice.Using the theory of working capital management based on channel management and starting from operation and financial management activities,this paper respectively analyses the current situation of working capital management of W Company through the analysis of data over the years and comparing with other enterprises in the same industry.This paper probes into the existing problems of working capital management of W Company,combines the characteristics of the industry in which W company is located,and puts forward constructive solutions.At the same time,It proposes safeguard measures from the perspective of system and other perspectives.The analysis and research of W company's working capital management,the optimization scheme and safeguard measures have certain application value for W company.They can help to improve its working capital management efficiency,even to meet the needs of cost reduction and alleviate the pressure brought by the revenue bottleneck.Meanwhile,this paper can also provide reference for other companies in the same industry.
