Nowadays,building an innovative country is an important national development strategy in China,and national innovation can not be separated from the innovation of enterprises.Employee innovation plays a very important role in the process of enterprise innovation,and employee innovation behavior is influenced by their work situation and personality traits,among which creative personality is more important.Creative personality refers to the personality characteristics of highly creative individuals in creative behavior,which is the result of individual creative research in the direction of personality psychology.Creative personality is the internal basis for employees to produce innovation behavior,and also the starting point for employees to implement creative activities.Employees with high creative personality tend to have higher creative potential.They like innovation and are more likely to show innovative behavior in their work.Based on the theory of personality traits and the theory of difference order pattern,this paper explores the influence of creative personality on employee innovation behavior and the mediating role of sense of work significance between them.At the same time,considering the influence of situational factors in organizations,this paper examines the moderating role of two situational factors in the relationship between creative personality and employee innovation behavior.In order to test the research hypothesis,this paper uses field survey and questionnaire survey to investigate employees of different positions in 8 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region,and obtains 337 valid matched questionnaires.Through the empirical analysis of 337 samples,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)creative personality has a significant positive impact on employee innovation behavior;(2)meaning of work significance partially mediates the impact of creative personality on employees innovation behavior;(3)transformational leadership plays a significant positive moderating role in the relationship between creative personality and employee innovation behavior;(4)Differential leadership plays a significant positive moderating role in the relationship between creative personality and employee innovation behavior.(5)meaning of work partly mediates the moderating effect of transformational leadership on the relationship between creative personality and employee innovation behavior,and partly mediates the moderating effect of differential leadership on the relationship between creative personality and employee innovation behavior.
