The Study On Research&Development Management Of Intelligent Voice Assistant In J Company Based On IPD Theory

Intelligent voice assistants serve as AI assistants for human being,which can communicate with people using natural language as human assistant,providing various services including weather query,news broadcast,schedule arrangement etc.Traditional hardware devices can upgrade to intelligent hardware devices with voice interaction ability through integrating the intelligent voice assistant.The intelligent voice assistants provide extraordinary user experience through liberating users' hands.Meanwhile,they give crucial access for the enterprises who develop them to obtain user data.Both history and forecast data show that intelligent voice assistants and intelligent hardware devices have tremendous scale and market in the future.Therefore,Amazon,Google,Apple,Microsoft,Alibaba,Baidu,Tencent and other technology giants have increased their layout in the field of intelligent voice assistants.In this context,J Company has entered the field of intelligent voice assistants,which has both unlimited opportunities and enormous challenges.The subject of this study is the development management process of the intelligent voice assistant.Using IPD theory and methods,this study explores the major problems and give optimization solutions.The strategy of this study is,using IPD theory to guide the management of research and development without confining to IPD process,organization structure etc.For starters,the study explores the major problems,including interest contradiction inside the company,ignorance of customer requirements,short of platform and CBB(Common Building Block),low degree of structuring,department wall,unbalance of business and ability.Then,the study offers optimization solutions based on IPD theory,including using investment point of view to balance inner interest contradiction in order to optimize resource configuration,basing on customer requirements to drive product development,constructing platforms to enhance scale effect,practicing structuring management to boost R&D production with multiple dimensions,balancing business and ability to maintain continuous development.Through the pilot implementation of the optimization process,comprehensive research shows that market satisfaction has improved after the optimization process.Through quantitative analysis,the development cycle reduced by 25%,the quality of major projects improved by 10%,and the development resources saved by 20%.The great significance of this study is,optimizing research&development management of intelligent voice assistant in J Company based on IPD theory,ensuring the successful delivery of the product and enhancing the influence of J Company in intelligent voice assistant territory.In the meantime setting up an example for other technical companies to follow,therefore making contribution of the intelligent era.
