Research On The Evaluation Of Open Economy Development Level And Influential Factors In Anhui Province

Since the 21 st century,the open economy of Anhui Province has developed to a certain extent.The 2015 Anhui Economic Work Conference proposed to upgrade the open economy.In April 2016,President Xi Jinping inspected Anhui and proposed that Anhui should speed up the construction of a new highland inland openness,put forward new requirements for Anhui's development of an open economy,and point out the development direction.The 10 th Party Congress of Anhui Province and the province's Inland Open New Highland Promotion Conference clearly demanded that the implementation of the open development action be accelerated,and efforts should be made to build a new highland of inland openness that is two-way interactive and internal and external.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the development of open economy in Anhui Province.This paper first summarizes the development status of the open economy in Anhui Province,and builds the index system and uses the entropy method to measure and evaluate the open economy development level of Anhui Province from the perspective of space and time.It is found that: the level of economic development has declined from the eastern region to the western region in 2016.The eastern region,especially Guangdong,Shanghai,Tianjin,Beijing and other places,has a relatively high level of open economy.The central part of Anhui Province has an open economy at the middle of its development level.Most of the western regions have a low level of development,and the open economy has a large development space;The eastern region,especially Guangdong,Shanghai,Tianjin,Beijing and other places,has a higher open economy,the development level of open economy in Anhui Province in the central region is in the middle position,most of the western regions are developing slowly,and the open economy has a large space for development.From the perspective of the urban distribution of Anhui Province,in addition to the rapid development of Hefei's open economy,the central Yunnan region is generally better than the Yuzhong and Weibei regions.From the time dimension,the comprehensive score of the open economy development level has been continuously improved of Anhui Province in 2010-2016,that is,the development level of the open economy in Anhui Province has increased year by year.This paper then uses principal component analysis and static panel models to analyze the factors affecting Anhui's openeconomy and finds that economic fundamentals,industrial structure,innovation and R&D capabilities,infrastructure and other factors are closely related to the development of Anhui's open economy.The factors of the development of open economy in Anhui Province are mainly GDP per capita,investment in fixed assets,research and development funds,freight volume,and the proportion of the second and third industries.Finally,according to the status quo of open economy development and the results of empirical research in Anhui Province,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed from the aspects of foreign trade,foreign capital utilization,regional coordinated development,industrial structure and transportation infrastructure.
