Analysis On The Operation Effect Of The Basic Old-age Insurance System For Urban Workers In Shanxi Province

The old-age insurance system is a social insurance system enforced by the government to meet the basic living needs in the old age.The government attaches great importance to this and strives to build and improve the basic old-age insurance system covering the whole country.The basic old-age insurance system for urban workers is an important part of the old-age insurance system,and its operating effect is directly related to the living standard of retired workers.Our country's economic development is unbalanced,and there are great differences among regions.The basic old-age insurance system has mixed operating effects,so it is necessary to conduct research.Based on the literature review and reference,this paper first constructed the evaluation index system of the operating effect of the basic old-age insurance system for urban workers.Then Deap2.1 software was used to estimate and analyze the efficiency of the selected index data by data envelopment analysis(DEA).Through the combination of qualitative and quantitative research,this paper analyzed the macroscopical operating effect of the old-age insurance system for urban workers in Shanxi Province,and it showed that the development level and system operation of the basic old-age insurance in Shanxi Province were generally average and also it reached the national average.On this basis,according to the empirical results,this paper explored the problems and causes of the basic old-age insurance system for urban workers in Shanxi province.Finally,in order to promote the coordinated and sustainable development of the old-age insurance system in Shanxi Province and the overall improvement of the system's operating effect,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward to further improve the basic old-age insurance system for urban workers.These measures include the promotion of the reform of the old-age insurance system,the formulation of a reasonable retirement system,the improvement of the overall planning level,and the improvement of the management service level.
