The development of manufacturing enterprises is in the transition period from industrial economy to knowledge economy transformation and upgrading.It faces the test of management system reform and upgrading of manufacturing process.Intelligent manufacturing and innovation driving are the strategic measures for its transformation and upgrading.Its innovation performance is increasingly valued,and innovation performance Employees are the main body of the company.The essence of innovation performance is the conversion of new knowledge and invention into market value.Employees are increasingly educated and skilled in their ability to provide advice on innovation performance.In addition,the emphasis on career planning and the awaress of humanistic thinking,employees are more likely to have certain opportunities for participation and work autonomy.Employee participation can meet the needs of employees to express their suggestions,realize the value of life,improve job satisfaction and organizational loyalty,mobilize the enthusiasm for innovation,and thus improve the innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises,so it should be highly valued.From the results of literature retrieval,there are a few of studies on the mechanism of employee participation in the innovation performance of Chinese manufacturing enterprises.Therefore,this paper takes the transformation and upgrading as the background,relies on the resource-based theory and the social exchange theory to verify the impact of employee participation on the innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises.Based on the knowledge integration theory and system view,the enterprise knowledge integration ability is introduced,and the influence mechanism of knowledge integration ability between employee participation and manufacturing innovation performance is discussed.Firstly,based on relevant theories and literature review,the research model is constructed and the research hypothesis is put forward.Secondly,234 valid sample data are obtained through questionnaire survey,and the data is tested and analyzed by SPSS21.0 and AMOS24.0 to verify the hypothesis of this paper.The conclusions are as follows:employee participation and its three dimensions(recommended participation,information sharing,and organizational empowerment)have a significant positive impact on corporate knowledge integration capabilities and innovation performance.Knowledge integration capabilities plays a partial mediating role between the two.Finally,based on the empirical conclusions and the status quo of the manufacturing enterprise,several management suggestions for the employee participation and innovation performance of the manufacturing enterprise are proposed.
