A Study On The R&D Internationalization And Innovation Performance Of Information Technology Enterprises

R&D internationalization is an important way for enterprises to track the development trend of science and technology,acquire advanced knowledge,enhance innovation capability and expand the international market.R&D internationalization is also significant for the country to promote the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy..Since the 1990 s,Chinese companies have begun to join the international market.MENs from china have begun to conduct overseas R&D activities by establishing foreign R&D centers,consigning R&D activities,forming technical alliances,mergers or acquisitions of foreign technology companies.This companies want to utilize global innovation resources to help themselves to improve the innovation capabilities.This paper based on the panel data in the information technology industry during 2013-2017,empirically studied the impact of R&D internationalization behavior on innovation performance,and revealed the regulatory role of state-owned equity and geographical diversification in their relationship.First,we reviewed the related theories of innovation performance,R&D internationalization and relevant influencing factors.Then,based on the assumptions,we constructed the model and designed the variables,performed statistical analysis on the sample data.Furthermore,we built a fixed effect Poisson panel regression model for empirical analysis.The empirical research results demonstrate that:(1)R&D internationalization has a significant improvement effect on the innovation performance of enterprises;(2)The state-owned equity significantly negatively regulates the relationship between R&D internationalization and innovation performance;(3)Geographical diversification of R&D significantly negatively regulates the relationship between R&D internationalization and innovation performance.The conclusions of this paper enrich and develop the current internationalization R&D theory and innovation performance theory of multinational corporations,and provide theoretical basis and reasonable suggestions to help MNEs take the R&D internationalization strategies and improve innovation performance improvement.
