Research On Business Restructuring Strategy Of Wuhan Retail Industry Listed Companies

The retail industry is closely related to daily life.The rapid development of the economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards have brought greater development opportunities to retail enterprises,but at the same time they are accompanied by greater challenges.The retail industry in Wuhan faces a very serious horizontal competition,and the major companies are from the vertical to the siege.How to get out of a scientific development path through effective business restructuring is an important issue.Under the guidance of corporate strategic management theory and corporate mergers and acquisitions theory,this paper analyzes the merger cases of Wushang Group Co.,Ltd.,Zhongbai Holding Group Co.,Ltd.and Wuhan Zhongshang Group Co.,Ltd.This paper initially studies the road of business integration of Wuhan retail industry mergers and acquisitions.First of all,based on the summary and discussion of enterprise management theory,this paper finds that business restructuring and enterprise mergers and acquisitions are effective means and methods to promote industry integration and rational allocation of social limited resources.Secondly,through the analysis of the status quo of the retail industry in Wuhan,this paper finds that there are many problems in the current retail industry,such as market environment,business operation and capital market.Finally,it is the design of the business restructuring path of three retail listed companies in Wuhan.This paper believes that each of the three listed companies in the retail industry in Wuhan has its own development advantages,and also has its own development disadvantages,and faces the outside opportunities and threats.The implementation of business restructuring and M&A strategy has a great effect on improving the market competitiveness of enterprises themselves.Regarding the principles and path of mergers and acquisitions,the merger and acquisition of listed companies in Wuhan retail industry should be based on the principle of “business focus,scale development,elimination of horizontal competition,and main business” and the first step to absorb Chinese businessmen and strengthen the second step.The joint path is to be carried out.Specifically,the Wushang Group should be the first to absorb the assets and business of the Chinese business.The new Wushang,which will complete the merger,will be merged into the Zhongbai Group as a whole,eventually forming a department store and a supermarket.The main format is to serve large retail enterprises in the province and even in the central region.
