Study On The Development Of Urbanization In Henan Province

Urbanization is a familiar topic for people all over the world.The traditional scattered rural population is pouring into advanced cities.This historical process is being staged.In the process of urbanization,more and more rural people have moved into cities,leaving more and more elderly people and children behind.Farmers’ demands for medical care,education,infrastructure and other conditions have become stronger and stronger.In China,the number of Henan’s population is the largest and the development of Henan’s agriculture is the greatest.Therefore,in the process of urbanization,there must be a large part of the rural population from the traditional scattered villages moves into modern advanced cities.Under this background,the study of the current status of urbanization in Henan Province is particularly necessary.Based on the impact of urbanization on the lives of farmers in Henan province,this paper sates the status quo of rural migrant workers and rural development in the process of urbanization in Henan province,lists the problems encountered in the development of urbanization in Henan province and analyzes the most significant influencing factors in urban life intention.In this way,on one hand,it can provides a theoretical basis for the comprehensive and systematic study of the impact and influence of urbanization on the lives of farmers.It helps to form a basic framework for the urbanization development path in Henan Province.On the other hand,it provides a decision-making basis for the local government to further promote urbanization in practice.This paper uses the two-element model of selection and selects two factors as dependent variables.First of all,it selected the will of rural residents to live in the city as dependent variable and 25 factors such as gender,age,living terrain,urban employment difficulties,the satisfaction of current income,farming,children caring,older age,get used to living in rural area as independent variables.The results showed that there were six influencing factors: the satisfaction of current income,urban employment difficulties,get used to living in rural area,part-time job in nearby,children’s education problems,and inconvenience of shopping.The most significant influencing factor is the satisfaction of current income.Secondly,it selected rural migrant workers’ willing to live in urban area as dependent variable and 19 factors such as gender,age,academic qualification,place of migrant worker,occupation,migrant workers’ residence,children’s enrollment,and the high price of housing as independent variables.The results showed that there were six influencing factors: high house purchasing prices,high daily living costs,inconsistent daily living habits,the problem of children’s education,inconvenient transportation and monthly income.Thus,in the process of urbanization in Henan Province,farmers pay special attention to urban housing prices,personal income,employment,and daily living habits.That is also the basic starting point for solving the urbanization development in Henan Province.Therefore,priority should be given to the government policy support and reasonable investment of resources to ensure the steady and healthy development of urbanization of Henan.
