China's Manufacturing Trade Upgrading Research Based On The Global Value Chain

Since China adopted the reform and opening,after 40 years of rapid development,economic aggregate ranked second in the world.With the deepening of China's participation in globalization continuously,the world economic and political pattern is changing profoundly and dramatically.Global governance and innovation pattern also is constantly evolving.Represented by the Internet,cloud computing,big data,the new round of industrial revolution has been driving the global manufacturing industry restructuring.In this context,China's manufacturing industry only constantly deepens the structural reform,transformation and upgrading of trade,and it can win the initiative in economic change in the future,China's rapid economic and stable growth.In recent years,the international division of labor presents a new features: the division of labor gradually breaks through geographical and sector boundaries,the degree of division of labor is more finely and section.In the global value chain,the western developed countries occupy the high production value chain link,while the developing countries engage in the low-end assembly processing link,having no voice for the key link in production.Under the background of global value chain,to study the factors that affects the upgrading of China's manufacturing trade and its upgrade path,which will improve China's manufacturing industry's international competitiveness and achieve greater benefit ability will be of great significance.This article first reviews the global value chain system status,income distribution,transformation and upgrading of trade theory,on the basis of respectively from the angles of structure and benefits to analyze the current situation and existing problems of China's manufacturing.Then from the two Angles,set up manufacturing trade promotion evaluation system,build the theoretical model and empirical test influence China's manufacturing industry structure upgrading and the influence factors of earnings to upgrade.Finally,it puts forward to the policy recommendations about how to achieve China's manufacturing industry in the production process trade upgrading.This paper which uses literature research,comparative analysis,combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method,has the following conclusions:first,China's manufacturing industry has made certain achievements after decades of development,but the factors which restrict the upgrading of manufacturing trade are increasingly prominent.Second,the average lengths of the China's manufacturing industry global production value chain as a whole or sector are progressively lengthing.and using the upstream degree as an indicator of the location of the global value chain,the study finds that: the location of the China's manufacturing industry global value chain has a rising trend.Third,with the economic globalization deepenning,the participation of China's manufacturing sector as a whole to participate in the global value chain and industry in the global value chain is gradually deepened.Fourth,using the China's manufacturing industry position in the global value chain as a measure of manufacturing industry structure upgrading,the study finds that: domestic value-added proportion,r&d,resource factor endowment,labor productivity,as well as the industry dominant comparative advantage all have different degrees of influence on structure upgrade.Fifth,using the benefit of China's manufacturing industry to participate in the global value chain as a measure of earnings to upgrade China's manufacturing industry,it finds that the intensity of research and development(RD),the density of capital(KY)participation,industrial output(Y)and the global value chain(GVC_pat)can increase the manufacturing yield,and the participation of global value chain(GVC_pat)is the main reason for the increasing manufacturing yield.The Industry competitiveness,however,is the more helpful to narrow the income gap between industries.to achieve trade upgrade to China's manufacturing industry,it need to realize the structure upgrade and earnings to upgrade.
