Under the background of economic globalization,when facing the environment of increasingly fierce competition and complex national cultural differences,how to integrate the foreign-funded enterprises with local culture and establish appropriate corporate culture so as to achieve effective cross-cultural management has become a new source for enterprises to improve their core competitiveness and gain competitive advantages.At present,Sino-German bilateral trade and German enterprises in China are increasing day by day.The corporate cultures of Chinese and German companies have their own characteristics,while the research on cross-cultural management of German enterprises in China is relatively rare both at home and abroad.Therefore,analyzing and discussing the problems and difficulties arising from the cultural differences in the operation and management of German enterprises in China,correctly looking at the role of cultural values and behavioral orientations in the operation of enterprises,and coordinating the cultural differences between China and Germany will provide some guidance and reference for improving the cross-cultural management of such kind of enterprise.Based on the theories of national culture,corporate culture and cross-cultural management,this paper focuses on how to apply cultural differences to the practice of German enterprises in China on the basis of national culture and corporate culture differences,and discusses in detail from three aspects: psychological factors,behavioral factors and institutional factors.Firstly,research questions are put forward in the light of the background of the globalization,and the rationality of the research is expounded.Secondly,literature review is made based on national culture,corporate culture and cross-cultural management by reviewing their connotations,types,characteristics and some other aspects.What's more,the relationship between national culture and corporate culture as well as the influence of national culture on corporate culture are analyzed,and the strategies of cross-cultural management are reviewed soas to construct theoretical framework for cross-cultural management of German enterprises in China.Thirdly,based on the theoretical model of cross-cultural management of German enterprises in China,the cross-cultural management of Bosch(Suzhou)from three aspects is investigated: psychology,behavior and institution,and hypotheses on these three aspects are made according to the respective national culture and corporate culture of China and Germany.Through descriptive analysis and comparative analysis,the questionnaire data are collected and analyzed to test the hypotheses in order to judge the actual cross-cultural management situation of Bosch(Suzhou).According to the existing cross-cultural management strategies at home and abroad,the cross-cultural management strategies suitable for Bosch(Suzhou)are formulated.Finally,the whole research is combed and related conclusions are drawn.By reflecting on the shortcomings of this study,corresponding suggestions for the future research are puts forward.
