As economic and cultural globalization deepens, the joint venture has a fast development. However, due to internal corporate culture between members, the managers from different countries will have some contradictions and conflicts of varying degrees in business target market selection, management methods, and style of doing things, such as basic issues, which often results in the failure of joint venture. Europe and the United States stress "the rule of law", the Japanese weigh "national policy" and the Chinese emphasize "favors". Different cultural background and philosophy of life is reflected in the joint venture enterprises. The difference of culture makes the cultural conflict in joint venture more apparent. Canadian Professor Kaolin's study finds that in all of the joint venture, the failure rate is about 30% -40%, among which, only about 30% of the economic cooperation failures are due to technical, financial or strategic problems, but about 70% of the failures are caused by failure of Cultural communication. Therefore, in a sense, the cultural construction determines the success or failure of the joint venture operation, which requires that the joint ventures must foster common values in cross-cultural environment in order to agglomerate the members from different cultural background and implement the business strategy.During business process Joint venture needs to correctly understand the root of cultural conflict, its performance and the relationship between the organizational efficiency and conflict. It is necessary to limit destructive conflict, while promoting constructive conflict, or in other words, to maintain corporate culture conflict within a reasonable degree so as to enhance the healthy development of enterprises. The cultural conflict in economic cooperation has become such an urgent problem that it should be solved as early as possible. This thesis systematically studies the conflict, contradictions and its mode, which are widespread in joint venture. Starting from investigating the phenomenon, the thesis tries to excavate the origin of the conflict and inspects the different cultural backgrounds of values and customs in order to find out the optimal solution to the problem and reduce the cost of operation in joint venture cooperation. This thesis holds that the most critical part of solutions to this problem is to promote the cooperation and communication among different cultures and build a collaborative corporate culture. Corporate culture is a lasting factor for enterprise development, for it is a part of the social culture, and is the typical pattern as well as the most direct expression of it. This is the prerequisite of cooperation in the global economic integration and cultural globalization trend. If joint venture wants to sustain constant growth and succeed in the global market competition, it should depend on corporate culture which can bring unlimited vitality to enterprise. The core of corporate culture is values to which all other cultural, economic and political activities are subject. Reconstruction of corporate culture is based on the awareness of the cultural differences in enterprises and the regulation of cultural conflicts together with potential cultural difference so that cultural communication, integration and coordinated development can be achieved. Even if different forms of corporate culture remain relatively independent, it can still realize cooperation and support of each other, as well as living in harmony, so that joint venture is in reasonable control of cultural conflict to gain the advantage of corporate cultural diversity and build a new corporate culture. It is possible to keep corporate culture conflict in reasonable degree by controlling and regulating corporate culture "difference-energy", which employ a series of management methods such as establishing trust, discerning corporate culture difference, controlling corporate culture conflict, forming mutual corporate culture, and promote the development of enterprises!...
