A Study On The Impact Of RMB Exchange Rate Fluctuation On China's Import And Export Trade

Following a series of exchange rate reforms carried out in China since the reform and opening up,the trend of RMB exchange rate appreciation is becoming more and more obvious.At the same time,combined with China's existing long-term surplus in international trade,this paper combines the two studies,demonstrates their correlation,and explores the impact of RMB exchange rate changes on China's foreign trade.First of all,through the analysis of existing research results at home and abroad to sort out,and then make assumptions,determine the analysis method.Then determine the relevant parameters and variables,collect and select data for research.Then through the panel model,the relationship between RMB exchange rate change and trade balance is empirically analyzed from the aspects of total amount,country and commodity structure,and the factors influencing trade balance are obtained.Research experience and economic development show that China's trade revenue and expenditure structure as a whole presents a " J" curve development trend,but in actual trade activities,different trade objects,trade products and trade time all present unique differentiation characteristics.These differences can be partly attributed to the flexibility of RMB exchange rate transmission,which is caused by the differences in trading partners,commodity types and cycles.Finally,this paper summarizes the previous research conclusions on the relationship between RMB exchange rate and import and export trade.Based on this conclusion and the current actual national conditions,this paper puts forward reasonable and targeted countermeasures and suggestions on how to construct a good RMB exchange rate formation mechanism and solve the related problems existing in the current import and export trade market,and further explains the limitations of this research and the future research direction.Figure3;Table 10;Reference 59...
