Since the reform and opening up in the 1980 s,China's economy has developed rapidly. However,at the same time of rapid economic growth, due to regional endowment differences,market-oriented resource allocation and policy bias, the gap between the rich and the poor is wide and regional development is uneven.Especially the growing income gap between urban and rural areas, which has become one of the main obstacles to the sustainable development of China's economy and society.Entering the new era and facing new opportunities for economic development, how to promote the new urbanization, industrialization, and informationization process with Chinese characteristics and reduce urban-rural incomegap areas is an important issue in regional economic research. The existing research focuses on urbanization, industrialization and informationization, and adopts the classical measurement model to study the impact of urban-rural income gap. There are few studies on the common effects and time-space differences of the three. In view of the shortcomings of this research, this paper first studies the theory of urban-rural income gap formation, new urbanization, new industrialization, informationization, and the influence mechanism of the three on urban and rural income.Later, with this as a guide, build a new type of town. And new industrialization, informatization, and urban-rural income gap indicator system are measured, and then descriptive statistics and spatial statistical methods are used to analyze the temporal and spatial patterns and evolution characteristics of the above indicators in 283prefecture-level cities in China from 2008 to 2016.In-depth analysis; Finally, taking 283 prefecture-level cities in China from 2008 to 2016 as the research object, using time-geographic weighting, spatial geographic weighting, and space-time geographic weighted regression model, new urbanization, newindustrialization, and informationization for urban and rural income The impact of the gap and its spatial and temporal heterogeneity are empirically tested. The main conclusions of the study are:(1)During 2008~2016,for the average level of 283 prefecture-level cities, the new urbanization level fluctuated slightly, increasing by 16% in nine years. The regional gap was obvious but shrinking;it showed obvious in space.Spatial agglomeration and spatial differences, notably the low level of spatial agglomeration in the Midwest.(2)During 2008~2016,for the average level of 283 prefecture-level cities, the industrialization level showed a steady growth trend, with a growth rate of 33% in nine years. The regional gap was obvious but shrinking;it also showed obvious in space.Spatial agglomeration and spatial differences, notably the low level of central and western agglomeration, and the high level of agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta and Jiaodong Peninsula.(3)During 2008~2016,for the average level of 283 prefecture-level cities, the level of informatization showed a steady growth trend, increasing by 44.3% in nine years. The regional gap was obvious but shrinking;there was obvious space in space.Agglomeration and spatial differences, low levels of concentration in Gansu,Heilongjiang and other provinces, high levels of concentration in the eastern coastal cities and capital cities in the central region.(4)During 2008~2016,for the average level of 283 prefecture-level cities, the ratio of urban and rural incomes has been decreasing year by year, with a decrease of 17.42% in nine years. The regional gap is obvious but it is significantly shrinking;there is obvious spatial agglomeration and spatial difference in space,low-gap areas are concentrated in the southeast coastal cities, and high-gap areas are concentrated in the central and western regions.(5)The empirical test of urbanization income gap between urbanization, industrialization and informatization shows that the spatio-temporal geo-weighted regression model considering the characteristics of variable differences has the best interpretation effect. For 283 prefecture-level cities in China, three The impact of urban and rural income gaps has significant spatial and temporal heterogeneity. The impact of new urbanization Most prefecture-level cities show positive effects and increase year by year. The impact of new industrialization Most prefecture-level cities show negative effects and are “U”-type changes. Most of the prefecture-level cities have negative effects and gradually increase.
