Research On The Coordinating Development Of Informationization And Urbanization

Being the inevitable trend of the economic and social development, informationization shows increasingly important position and role in the economic construction and social development. As an important characteristic of modernization, urbanization is not only the common law of the economic and social development in every country, but also the strong driving force and carrier of industrialization. The level of informationization and urbanization has become the hallmark of the social and economic development in a country or a region.In China, informationization develops very fast, however, there are still many contradictions and problems, China's informationization lags fairly far behind when comparing with the developed countries. On the other side, the process of China's urbanization is comparatively slow and lags behind in development because of economic conditions and historical reasons. Experience from both China and abroad indicates that informationization links closely with urbanization. Informationization is the elevator and enhancer of urbanization, while urbanization is the carrier and supporter of informationization. Therefore, there is a need of promoting the coordinating development of the two by upgrading urbanization with informationization and propelling informationization with urbanization. This is of great practical significance to promote urbanization, improve the level of informationization well and quickly and increase the national competence constantly. It is also the reason for my research on this subject.This thesis uses analysis, induction, deduction and contrast method, at the same time, integrating theory and practice. After analyzing the meaning of informationization and urbanization, the correlative theory of the coordinating development of this two, this thesis discusses the interaction of informationization and urbanization, pointing out that informationization brings the growth of the urban economy, optimizes the allocation of the urban resources, promotes the upgrading of the urban industrial structure and intensifies the system innovations in urbanization, simultaneously, indicating that urbanization provides support for informationization, the factor endowment and ability of allocating resources of the cities are the key to informationization; In this way, it analyses the influence of the coordinating development of informationization and urbanization on the social and economic development. Then from the reality, this thesis analyses the necessity of this coordinating development and points out informationization is the need of promoting urbanization and urbanization is the need of propelling informationization, while the coordinating development of the two is the need of new-type industrialization. Subsequently, it studies both the significant progress and the existing problems in this coordinating development. At last, aiming at these existing problems and challenges, this thesis puts forwards some countermeasures as follows: firstly, developing the new-type industrialization to promote the process of urbanization; secondly, making use of informationization to promote the construction of new socialist countryside; thirdly, using informationization to improve the quality of urbanization.Trying to analyze the interaction of informationization and urbanization, the actual demands, the status quo, and the ways and measures, this thesis explores the law of the coordinating development of informationization and urbanization, summarizes the achievement and the existing problems in it and puts forwards some countermeasures. The possible innovation of this thesis is the novelty of the selected subject.
